One of the most impressive LEGO Art sets is the beautiful #31215 LEGO Art Vincent van Gogh – Sunflowers, released last year. This 2,615-piece set is a 3D version of one of the world’s most beloved paintings. It was created in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, which houses the world’s largest Van Gogh collection and includes the original painting. The set features 16 sunflowers with adjustable petals, a removable 21 in. (54 cm) high and 16 in. (41 cm) wide frame, and a tile with Van Gogh’s signature. It really is a beautiful set that’s fun to build and worthy of displaying even outside the LEGO room. If you’re interested, the set is priced at $199.99 and is still available at the LEGO Art section of the Online LEGO Shop.
Coming next month, another beautiful set that recreates a famous painting is the #31220 LEGO Art Claude Monet – Bridge Over a Pond of Water Lilies. The set was created in collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, which houses over 1.5 million works of art, including Monet’s famous 1899 oil painting. The brick-built version of the painting comes with 3,179 pieces and honors the rich textures and beauty of Monet’s Impressionist style with very creative parts-usage. The set measures over 20 in. (51 cm) high and 16 in. (41 cm) wide, and will retail for $249.99 at the LEGO Art section of the Online LEGO Shop.
I really like that the two sets are very similar in size and have the same frame design. They should look great together on display! What do you think? How do you like the LEGO Art sets, specifically the brick-built versions of famous artworks? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!

So pretty! I love how they did the water lilies!
It’s very beautiful, but it must be tedious to build with all those tiny pieces. Great parts usage though!
Both of these are beautiful, but yeah, they are tedious to build.
I love how the Bridge over a Pond of Water Lilies set captures the soft colors and peaceful atmosphere that make Claude Monet so timeless. The layered textures and subtle shading really make it feel like a piece of wall art rather than just a build. To bring out those details even more, I think display lighting makes a big difference, especially in the evening. Adding a gentle glow with lego light kits can enhance depth, highlight the brushstroke effect of the bricks, and turn the finished model into a true gallery-style centerpiece at home.
I finally decided my Lego “problem.”
I believe the three biggest toy companies are Lego, Hasbro and Mattel. But nobody buys, collects, follows Mattel. They buy, collect, follow Barbie or Hot Wheels or Megablocks(?) or,,, They are separate product lines, presumably blogs, hobbies — all owned by one company.
Lego is one product line of an ever growing size!!!
