Watch LEGO Star Wars Resistance Rises

The LEGO Star Wars: The Resistance Rises animated television series aired on the Disney XD channel between mid-February and early May this year with five episodes. The series is now over, so I thought to post them here in case you missed out. The story of these episodes takes place prior to the First Order’s attack on Jakku in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens film, and tells never-before-told stories about Kylo Ren, Han Solo, Finn, Rey, BB-8, Maz Kanata and more. So grab your popcorn and enjoy the show! 🙂

LEGO Star Wars The Resistance Rises

I have included all five episodes of LEGO Star Wars: The Resistance Rises in the video-player below. You can watch them all in sequence, or select the episode you would like to see. I have also included the synopsis as well as the opening crawl of each episode for your reference.

LEGO STAR WARS: THE RESISTANCE RISES – POE TO THE RESCUE: Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma have captured Admiral Ackbar! Join Poe Dameron on his adventure to locate C-3PO and rescue Admiral Ackbar. Will it be a trap? “The brave Resistance Movement struggles in its valiant fight against the dreaded First Order. Unaware that the First Order has constructed a deadly Super Weapon, the Resistance must now rescue one of its most important leaders, who is being held prisoner aboard an enemy Star Destroyer…”

LEGO STAR WARS: THE RESISTANCE RISES – THE TROUBLE WITH RATHTARS: Han Solo and Chewbacca have their hands full with a pack of misbehaving Rathtars and the First Order Tie fighters! Watch as Han Solo is forced to do some quick thinking to save his skin! “New heroes arise and old heroes are tested as the Resistance battles the dreaded First Order with the fate of the galaxy in the…”

LEGO STAR WARS: THE RESISTANCE RISES – HUNTING FOR HAN: The hunt is on for Han! Watch as the scurvy pirate Bala Tik and other unsavory characters demands that Maz reveal the location of Han Solo. “As war tears through the galaxy, one spot remains a haven for those with less noble pursuits. The ancient castle of the legendary space pirate Maz Kanata is a gathering spot for cheats, thieves and lowlifes from across the galaxy…”

LEGO STAR WARS: THE RESISTANCE RISES – REY STRIKES BACK: When the heartless trader’s Unkar Plutt’s men steal Rey’s beloved Tank Speeder “Bumper”, watch as Rey will stop at nothing to get it back! “On the far reaches of the Galaxy sits Jakku, a remote desert planet littered with ruined ships. Nothing can flourish there, but a determined young scavenger named Rey is certainly trying…”

LEGO STAR WARS: THE RESISTANCE RISES – ATTACK OF THE CONSCIENCE: In the final short, watch as Finn, a Stormtrooper in Captain Phasma’s troop, begins to have second thoughts about the attack on the innocent people of Jakku and becomes the hero of conscience in the The Force Awakens! “In the far reaches of the Outer Rim, with the battle for the fate of the Galaxy just beginning, the First Order demonstrates its
awesome might at the dreaded Starkiller Base…”

LEGO videos are always enjoyable because of the great animation and funny humor. LEGO Star Wars: The Resistance Rises, is no exception. My only complaint is that the episodes were too short. But remember that LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures is coming soon! And in the meantime you can also check out the currently available LEGO Star Wars sets at the Online LEGO Shop.

Sometimes when I browse Amazon I run across some really interesting LEGO items that I don’t see anywhere else. For example I recently discovered a collection of high quality LEGO desk supplies. I will show you some of them here, as they would make great gift items for LEGO fans, or even for yourself. A good excuse to keep some LEGO even at your work-desk. These are all licensed by LEGO, and include real LEGO elements. 🙂

LEGO Stationery

LEGO STATIONERY – BUILDABLE RULER: I love this ruler! It is made of all LEGO elements, including some unique pieces. Take a look at those 4×20 green baseplates, and printed LEGO tiles! You can build either a 6 inch or 12 inch ruler from the pieces, and attach whatever you like to the plates in the middle. I can see this ruler being very useful not just as a regular desk supply, but as part of various LEGO machines and other contraptions. In the video-review below JANBRiCKS will show you the ruler in more detail, and if you would like to get one, you can find it here: LEGO RULER ON AMAZON

LEGO STATIONERY – COLORED GEL PENS: In the same collection there is also a set of nine gel pens that writes in nine colors: red, orange, yellow, light-green, green, light-blue, blue, brown, and black. The pens all have standard LEGO 1×4 plates incorporated at their end, so you can either attach the pens to a LEGO surface, or attach LEGO parts and minifigs to the pens. You can find it here: LEGO GEL PENS ON AMAZON

LEGO STATIONERY – COLORED MARKERS: This is a set of nine markers, in the same colors as the pens mentioned above: red, orange, yellow, light-green, green, light-blue, blue, brown, and black. The markers have thicker bodies than the pens, so here 2×4 plates are added. You fan find it here: LEGO COLORED MARKERS ON AMAZON

LEGO STATIONERY – PENCIL BOX: Naturally, there is also a LEGO pencil box in the collection. But instead of just being a boring ordinary pencil box, this one is also very cleverly designed. There is an 8×26 green baseplate inside the pencil holder that you can use to attach your pens and markers, or just build something on top. And there is also a 2×4 plate in the lid, for more attachments. You can find it here: LEGO PENCIL BOX ON AMAZON

LEGO STATIONERY – STORAGE BOX: There is a larger version of the pencil box, with a removable 18×26 green baseplate to store your LEGO stationeries, or whatever else you like. This one doesn’t have a LEGO plate incorporated in the lid, but the cover is made to look like a notebook with some LEGO designs. You can even use this as a small carry-case for LEGO elements. You can find it here: LEGO STORAGE BOX ON AMAZON

LEGO STATIONERY – JOURNAL: This journal got matching cover to the storage box mentioned above. It’s a standard journal, except that it includes a 6×26 stud plate on the outside for building. You can find it here: LEGO JOURNAL ON AMAZON

LEGO Stationery - LEGO Notebooks

Cool, aren’t they? The whole collection makes a really nice school supply set for kids, or desk supply set for adults. They are all high quality items to match the LEGO brand, and all the LEGO elements included are real LEGO plates and baseplates with the LEGO logo on all studs. The unusual size LEGO baseplates and the printed ruler pieces are particularly interesting because they are unique to this series.

LEGO Stationery - LEGO Pencils

There are some other items in the same collection, like pencils, pencil sharpeners, erasers and various other pen and marker sets. I won’t list them all, but you can find them here: LEGO STATIONERY COLLECTION ON AMAZON

I would say that even just one of these items would make a great gift, or if you like your stationery to match, you can get them all. What do you think? How do you like this LEGO stationery collection? Do you have any of them already? Or planning to get some? Feel free to share your own review in the comment section below! 😉
