There are a couple of pieces of news from the BrickLink Designer Program. First of all, projects from Series 3 are now available for pre-order. There are five projects in this series and they will all become official LEGO sets. Pre-ordering ends on October 31st, 2024 at 1 PM Pacific time, or once all sets sell out.

The five sets are as follows: Harbormaster’s Office by Rich_Herbert for $199.99, The Art of Chocolate by brickester for $229.99, the Forest Stronghold by Krackenator for $299.99, the Camping Adventure by KingCreations for $54.99, and the Lost City by letsgolegobrick for $289.99.

BrickLink members may pre-order their favorite sets, with a limit of 2 of each set per household. All sets that receive over 3,000 pre-orders will be produced. Up to 30,000 of each set will be manufactured during a limited, one-time production run. The sets are made in LEGO’s own factories. Orders will be ready to ship approximately 6 months after pre-ordering. Actual dates and shipping times may vary. BrickLink Designer Program sets sell out quickly, so if you want to get any of these, act fast.

Also, now it’s time for you to help the BrickLink Designer Program team pick potential future LEGO sets from Series 6! You have until October 18th to cast your vote. This crowd vote weighs in alongside the BDP team’s internal selection criteria and influences the designs chosen for crowdfunding. The team will check every design for building experience, brand fit, and crowd favorites and will reveal the five finalists on November 18th. Then, the BDP team will collaborate with fan designers to prepare the sets for production. There are 296 candidates in this round, so there is plenty to choose from. All you need to do is pick your favorites. (You can also mark your least favorites and the ones you’re neutral about.)

Do you own any of the BrickLink Designer Program sets released so far? Did you pick any from Series 3? And which ones did you vote for in Series 6? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!
