Watch LEGO Ninjago Episode 35, 36 & 37!

There is still no sign of when the 2015 LEGO Ninjago episodes will be airing on Cartoon Network, however since the episodes have been readily available in other countries for a long time now, I thought to post them here for those of you who are tired of waiting and would like to see them. 🙂

LEGO Ninjago 2015 Poster

The previous season of LEGO Ninjago released in 2014 went in the direction of mixing quite a bit of futuristic technology into the otherwise more traditional ninja/fantasy legend. While this was an interesting turn, a lot of Ninjago fans expressed that they preferred the more conventional portrayal of the ninja. And if you were one of those people, you will be happy to know that Ninjago is in fact back to its established roots. The video below includes all three new episodes of the season. And you can also read a short synopsis of the episodes.

NINJAGO EPISODE 35 – THE INVITATION: The loss of Zane has fractured the team of the ninja and they attempt to create new, more normal lives for themselves. However when they encounter a mysterious invitation to Master Chen’s “Tournament of Elements”, everything the ninja believed to be true gets questioned and they are pulled into a new quest. Sensei Garmadon joins them at the last minute to protect his son…

NINJAGO EPISODE 36 – ONLY ONE CAN REMAIN: While traveling to the island where the tournament is held, the ninja learn a lot of surprising new information both about their own elemental powers and about the real identity of Master Chen. They also learn what the tournament is really about and who they are up against…

NINJAGO EPISODE 37 – VERSUS: Sensei Wu, Misako and Nya are worried about the ninja and Sensei Garmadon being gone for days with no contact. Nya goes on a mission to find out what happened to them. Meanwhile the ninja participate in the tournament and try to figure out how to find and rescue an old friend…

Awesome, isn’t it? And now that you understand what is going on in Season 4 of the Ninjago story, the 2015 LEGO Ninjago sets we talked about before (see: LEGO Ninjago 2015 Sets Pictures & More!) make a whole lot more sense. We can understand who the characters are and what is the setting for the new LEGO Ninjago line. And while we are waiting for the new sets to become available you can take a look at the currently available LEGO Ninjago sets at the Online LEGO Shop.

LEGO Pirates website updates & more!

A few days ago LEGO updated the website of the soon-to-launch LEGO Pirates line. This is very exciting for LEGO Pirates fans as the theme was temporarily put on hold and replaced with the LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean line. However now that LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean has been discontinued, LEGO Pirates are coming back! 🙂

2015 LEGO Pirates Map

One of the interesting features added on the LEGO Pirates website is a short bio on all of the characters. There are ten minifigures listed on the side of the Bluecoats and ten on the side of the Pirates. Although many of them are just generic soldiers and pirates, some of the bios does reveal some interesting details. For example that the Bluecoats are governed by Governor Hacienda, who’s daughter secretly dreams of becoming a pirate. And that one of the Bluecoat Sergeants is a former pirate. On the other side we got Captain Redbeard, the toughest of the pirates, who plundered more forts and sailed for more years than he has teeth in his mouth. Which of course doesn’t say much, but you get the point. And than there is also the Pirate Princess, with an eye-patch. Will she make friends with the tomboyish daughter of the Governor, or will they be jealous rivals? 🙄
