Today I would like to introduce you to a series of LEGO videos that I find particularly inspiring. They have been created by a new official LEGO project called Build Together. Build Together has its own website at BuildTogether.com, with the subtitle of “Awesome LEGO Ideas for You & Your Kids”. The site is mainly geared towards families with children who like to use LEGO as a creative and bonding medium, but it also has some nice features for AFOLs (Adult-Fans-of-LEGO). 🙂

The Build Together LEGO website is kind of bare-bones at this point, but it does have some simple LEGO building projects, various fun LEGO contest and game ideas you can play with your family, and a bunch of LEGO inspired videos. I will focus on the videos here that I think you will appreciate, and if you like, you can check out the website for the rest.

The first LEGO video I would like to show you is called LEGO Our Stories, and features an architect, a bakery owner, and an elementary school teacher who share how LEGO has inspired them and led them to become the persons they are today.
The second LEGO video is another documentary featuring more LEGO fans – including a sculptor, a novelist, and a roboticist – who talk about how LEGO continues to keep their creative juices flowing that leads them to new discoveries in their line of work.
The third LEGO video called 5,000 LEGO Bricks, Unlimited Inspiration features 3 adult LEGO fans who are each given 5,000 LEGO pieces and 2 hours to make whatever they want. In the process they share how LEGO has been part of their lives and what does LEGO mean to them.
These are just some of the videos at BuildTogether.com. You can find more at the website. So what do you think? How did you like the videos? And what does LEGO mean to you? If you are an adult LEGO fan are you using LEGO in your line of work either directly or indirectly? Or are you using LEGO for relaxation and fun? And if you are not an adult yet, what do you like the most about LEGO? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below! 😉
