More LEGO sets on the retiring soon list!

LEGO recently added a new section to their website with sets retiring soon. We have discussed this new feature before (see: New LEGO Sale Section: Items Retiring Soon) and I also added a link at the right-hand side-bar that will take you directly to the page. I’m not planning to write a post every time LEGO adds a new item, however since this feature is still new and a lot of LEGO fans don’t know about it yet, and because LEGO just added a bunch of sets to the list, I thought to give you an update. 😉

Just to summarize, the LEGO Sets Retiring Soon section lists sets that have been recently retired. Once the current stock is sold, they are gone for good. No more will be produced. You may be able to find them on the secondary market, but expect much higher prices. Interesting to note that the feature was added to LEGO’s website a little over a month ago, and from the original eight sets that were listed, five already sold out and only three are still on the list. 🙁

Newly added sets to the LEGO Sets Retiring Soon section are listed below. The most notable ones are the #10212 LEGO Star Wars Imperial Shuttle and #10217 LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley. If you are after either of these sets (both really awesome!) this is your last chance. Also the #10193 LEGO Castle Medieval Market Village is still on the list. If you haven’t done it already, I would get this one right away, as this is one of the best LEGO sets every made! 😛

  • #10212 LEGO Star Wars Imperial Shuttle
  • #10217 LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley
  • #2734 LEGO DUPLO Straight Train Rails Pack
  • #3182 LEGO City Airport

  • #3841 LEGO Minutaurus Game
  • #3858 LEGO Heroica Waldurk Forest Game
  • #3937 LEGO Friends Olivia’s Speed Boat
  • #4642 LEGO City Fishing Boat

  • #5549 LEGO Building Fun Brick Box
  • #6228 LEGO Hero Factory Thornraxx
  • #6229 LEGO Hero Factory XT4
  • #7869 LEGO Star Wars Battle for Geonosis

  • #7877 LEGO Star Wars Naboo Starfighter
  • #9092 LEGO Racers Crazy Demon
  • #9483 LEGO Cars Agent Mater’s Escape
  • #9674 LEGO Star Wars Planets Naboo Starfighter & Planet Naboo

These are all the new additions to the LEGO Sets Retiring Soon section. I would suggest you keep up to date with the list on a regular basis so you don’t get caught by surprise by a LEGO set that vanishes from the market. I added a quick link to the right-hand side bar for your convenience.

Anything on the updated LEGO Sets Retiring Soon list that you definitely want to grab before it disappears? Either for yourself or as an investment? Share your thoughts in the comment section below! 🙂

I know many old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turles fans are excited about this new LEGO theme, while others can’t relate much. Time will tell if this collaboration between LEGO and the TMNT franchise will work out on the long term. But at least we will get the six sets above, so if you are interested to collect the Turtles and other characters, this is your chance! (There is at least two versions of each of the Turtles in these sets.)

So what do you think? Will the LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme be successful? Will you get the sets yourself? Would love to hear your opinion, so feel free to share in the comment section below! 🙂
