LEGO contest: win exclusive LEGO sets!

Our friends over at Brick Fanatics (a UK based LEGO blog) are running a sweet little LEGO contest. Check it out! 😛

In the United Kingdom The Sun newspaper runs an annual LEGO giveaway. Over the period of 9 days the paper gives away a LEGO polybag each day. Brick Fanatics has a full set of these LEGO polybags that will be given to one lucky winner. This LEGO contest is open to any LEGO fan anywhere in the world. Here are the LEGO contest prizes:

The nine polybags given away in the LEGO contest are as follows: #30160 LEGO SUPER HEROES Batman Jetski, #30161 LEGO SUPER HEROES Batmobile, #30087 LEGO NINJAGO Cole ZX’s Car, #30150 LEGO City Race Car, #30056 LEGO Star Wars Star Destroyer, #30018 LEGO City Police Plane, #30010 LEGO City Fire Chief, #30086 LEGO NINJAGO Hidden Sword, and #8028 LEGO Star Wars Mini Tie Fighter.

All these LEGO sets can be yours by just answering a simple question related to LEGO’s history. The winner will be selected at random from all correct entries. You can find the question and how to enter here: LEGO CONTEST DETAILS. The deadline is June 30th, so don’t delay! 😉

Also, don’t forget that you can still enter the LEGO contest to win a pair of very exclusive LEGO SUPER HEROES minifigures just by writing a review on LEGO’s new Movie Maker app. Here is the link with details: LEGO Contest – Win LEGO Super Heroes Minifigs!

Good luck in both of the LEGO contests! 😀

New custom LEGO weapons from BrickArms

BrickArms just released a big batch of custom LEGO accessories for your minifigures ready to save the world! Check out the new addition to the BrickArms selection below:

I particularly like the BrickArms selection in brown above. These are some really nicely designed classic guns with gorgeous detailing. I always liked the contrast of wood and metal in classic guns, and the brown used here mimics that feature well. If you have a steady hand you can paint the metal-parts black or gunmetal to make them even more realistic.

The new BrickArms guns in brown include: M79 Bloop Gun, Lever Action Rifle, SUBR Shotgun, Full Stock M1 Carbine, M1887 Shotgun, KAR98 Rifle, Flintlock Pistol, Flintlock Musket, and the M97 Trench Gun.

Speaking of gunmetal, the second batch of BrickArms releases in fact comes in black and gunmetal colors. These are more modern weapons, and the sleek colors fit them well. See below:

The new BrickArms guns in black or gunmetal include: Sten Gun with removable stick-magazine, MG34 with removable saddle-drum, RPG-7 Rocket Grenade, Tommy Gun with removable ammo-drum, ABR (Advanced Battle Rifle), M9 Pistol, TT-33 Pistol, ACS (Automatic Combat Shotgun) with removable ammo-drum,  Panzerfaust (“tank-fist”) anti-tank gun, and a Derringer – great for Western and Steampunk minifigs! 😉

By the way, BrickArms had a fantastic time recently in Chicago during the Brickworld/World War Brick event. Here is a fun photo with BrickArms fans lining up to browse and shop the selection.

Here is also an excellent video-review of the event from Joshua Hanlon from aLookatLEGO.com podcast. If you have a chance to go to a LEGO-fan event I highly recommend it! Also, BrickArms and other LEGO customizers participate in at least all the large LEGO-fan events, so you have a chance to check out and purchase their products in person.
