Do you want to win BIG? Then check this out! Just on the heels of the recent Pirates of the Caribbean Contest (voting is open – check here), Eurobricks is launching another LEGO contest; this one with a Western theme. Yeehaw!
So, do you have what it takes to survive in the rough and tough Wild West? Think you know how to MOC down and dirty? Well, here is your chance!
CATEGORIES: There are 3 categories you can enter! And you are allowed to enter with multiple entries! Here they are:
- DESIGN A WILD-WEST TRAIN: Limit yourself to a maximum of four wagons/cars/coaches/flat beds etc. Engine can include a tender as well and it will not be included in the four car limit. You are allowed to include railway track, however a full MOC background is not permitted as this category is all about the train! You are free to use as many figures on or around the train.
- BUILD A WESTERN INFLUENCED TOWN: Let your imagination run away from you. This category could include a saloon township, Indian reservation, cavalry fort, mining town, or whatever screams Western to you! Maximum size of 64×64 studs. As many figures as you like too!
- DESIGN A VIGNETTE WTIH CUSTOM WESTERN FIGURE: Build a vignette (maximum size 16 x 16, with minimal overhang allowed) featuring your custom western figure. You may include other figures in your vignette as well; just make sure to indicate which figure is the custom center piece.
PRICES: First place winners in Category 1 and 2 will each get a budget of 200 Euros ($283) to buy whatever sets they want at the online LEGO store (plus money for shipping). The first place winner in category 3 will receive a budget of 50 Euros ($70). The prizes for second-place winners in all categories are sponsored by Brick Warriors; winners will receive a custom Western figure with accessories!
DEADLINE: You have until Saturday, the 10th of September for your LEGO contest entry. That’s 8 weeks to churn out something amazing!
