Exciting news today! The first wave of 2012 LEGO sets are available for pre-order!  :P

Just a few days after all the cat-and-mouse game of LEGO blogs and forums posting pictures of the 2012 LEGO sets, and LEGO ordering them to take the information down promptly, Barnes & Noble listed all the 2012 LEGO sets for pre-order! So I guess it is now okay to talk about them. ;)

You can check out my original post on the 2012 LEGO sets here: 2012 LEGO Sets – See What’s Coming!

You can see the 2012 Dealers Catalog images here: 2012 LEGO Catalog (removed by the request of TLG)

Hmmm… I tried what you said to do but I didn’t see any of the new sets. I’m still excited about them though. :)

Quad, all the 2012 listings have been taken down from Barnes & Noble.

I guess they listed them too early by accident. Anyway, at least we have a list and prices. ;)

UPDATE: All the 2012 LEGO sets have been taken down from the Barnes & Noble website! My guess is that they were listed too early by accident. Anyhow, at least we have the set names and prices…and the cat and mouse game continues!

I’m waiting for the new girls theme! Very exciting! I actually like the figs too! I know they don’t look like regular Lego, but they could become collectibles like the Fabuland figs. Maybe.

That is actually a really good point; if these figs are cute enough, they may very well become collectibles like Fabuland figs.

Because the figs are going to be small and cute, the sets are still minifig proportions, so if someone doesn’t like the figs they can always be replaced with regular LEGO minifigs. And most of the sets seems to be quite nice. Nice shades of blue, white, yellow… with no overwhelming amount of pink syrup!

Sean, yes, I saw you fixed the links. Thanks! As far as when TRU will have the 2012 LEGO Star Wars sets, my guess is that we will probably see them by the end of the year. It would be great if they would be available before Christmas, but I’m really not sure about that. Also, it seems that Amazon often have new sets earlier than TRU, so you may want to keep an eye on them as well. ;)

Sean, yes that is a very nice little set. Both the ARC and the ARF troopers are amazing! It should be a popular set with LEGO Star Wars fans! :D
