LEGO Chima animals & footprints…

by admin on July 24, 2013

in LEGO Legends of Chima

There are a couple of quite unusual LEGO Legends of Chima videos on Cartoon Network. They are basically clever advertisements for the TV series made to look like nature documentaries, and they are pretty fun to watch. Check them out below. 🙂

LEGO Legends of Chima Banner

The first video features Chima Animal Expert, Chase Blackstone, on the trail of the legendary, rather elusive LEGO animals of Chima, who have been dismissed as a hoax. Chase shares that he has been labeled a charlatan, but he continues his search for the creatures who – according to legends – walk upright, are smarter, and use technology. The video kind of reminds me of those guys searching for bigfoot. 🙄

The second Chima video sounds like a David Attenborough nature documentary: “In the world’s most remote wilderness – from the Amazon Rainforest to the African Plains – legend tells of an advanced species of animal; beast-like creatures that walk on two legs, use sophisticated technology, and made entirely of LEGO bricks. LEGO animals may number in the thousands, or they could be as few as 32. Ancient cave-drawings tell of such creatures. Sightings of the LEGO animal have been rare, and the stories the stuff of legend… until now…”

The connection between real creatures of nature (even extinct and legendary ones) and the world of LEGO Chima sounds a bit forced and awkward, but it is an interesting idea. What do you think? How do you like the LEGO Chima nature videos? Do you wish there would be advanced animals like in Chima in real life? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below! 😉

Admin,I believe this was a real legend because most of the stuff in Ninjago are ancient legends and myths.

The stone army for example.

The serpentine. I read in a certain dictionary that they are a myth. They are manlike serpents.

The skeleton army, another legend. All of these are based on real stuff.

Yes, there are legends of serpentine people called the Nagas. Their story is all over Asian legends. They can transform between human and serpent form at will. Some can even fly! Probably that’s why you see so many dragons in Asian pictures, statues and carvings. Some people say they were real and may still be around, living underground. 😉

It was fun to watch… loved how the Speedorz-track just manifested and even morphed during the race! Just the story is a bit lame; mainly for 5-year-olds. I don’t know how older kids would like this. Anyway, it was fun! 🙂

No problem. I’m happy to help. The best quality video is the one from rutube. My opinion.

Yes, rutube is the one I like the most as well! Sometimes the other versions won’t even play!

It’s a Russian website where you can watch some of the episodes. 🙂

Isn’t it funny how Rutube doesn’t record any episode in Russian? I personally don’t care because I am Russian-American and i can understand both languages!

Reply

admin August 8, 2013 at 11:56 AM

Oh, that’s really cool! My understanding is that Russian is a really hard language. I have a sister who speaks fluently.

CraggerThePrinceOfChima August 8, 2013 at 2:28 PM

Wow! You have a sister that speaks it fluently? I’m impressed! It really is a hard language and is probably as hard to learn as French!

admin August 8, 2013 at 2:51 PM

Yeah, she was an exchange student in Russia for a while. Also her best friend is from Russia, so I guess it was easier for her to pick it up from another teen.
