The LEGO Friends video-game we discussed earlier (see: LEGO Friends Video-Game Coming Soon!) is available! Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment recently announced the launch of the new LEGO Friends video-game for the Nintendo 3DS handheld system, and now you can purchase it at retail stores as well as online – just on time for the holidays. This latest LEGO video-game adventure is based on the popular LEGO Friends collection of building sets, providing a fun adventure that allows players to express their imagination and creativity. Let’s take a look! 🙂
Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games said: “We are pleased to bring to life the imaginative and vibrant world young girls have come to enjoy from their LEGO Friends toy sets. Now, they can interact with their favorite LEGO Friends characters, join them on fun adventures, while expressing their creativity as they play.”
In LEGO Friends, players visit Heartlake City, playing the role as Olivia’s cousin who – along with Olivia – joins other LEGO Friends like Mia, Stephanie, Emma and Andrea on fun adventures. Throughout the game, players will complete a variety of activities, such as rescuing a wounded fawn, practicing their soccer skills, choreographing dance routines and training pets. Each of these activities builds the level of friendship with each LEGO Friend the player encounters. The ultimate goal of the game is to become a “True Friend” with each of the LEGO Friends, while exploring and uncovering all of the secrets, badges and rewards in the amazing city of Heartlake.
Using an interactive map, players can explore Olivia’s House, Heartlake High, Main Street, Clover Meadows and Heartlake Marina, all of which are based on LEGO Friends sets. Players can further explore and enjoy total freedom in each core area by visiting the Karate Dojo in Heartlake High, the Rehearsal Studio on Main Street, the Riding Camp in Clover Meadows or the Dolphin Cruiser in the Marina to collect items, play mini-games, complete tasks, solve puzzles, and build objects from piles of LEGO bricks found throughout the game. They will also collect and unlock new pets, each with a unique ability, that helps players solve puzzles and access new areas to explore. Heatlake City is filled with exciting activities, such as rescuing a dolphin and teaching them tricks and discovering hidden pirate treasures with a secret map. 🙄
LEGO Friends also gives players the opportunity to express their individual style and personality through various customization options. Players are able to pick their character’s outfits, hairstyles, and accessories, select a pet or design and personalize their character’s bedroom.

The LEGO Movie is scheduled for next February, so the game should come out about the same time.
thank you admin! 😉
I don’t play Video Games, and this one looks bad.
Down with Friends!
well good sir, I suppose in some peoples opinion is could look bad, but there might be others who find this appealing, and to say right out blatently that “somthing looks bad” seems a bit uncool, so to quote my dear old Granny “if you dont have anything nice to to comment, dont comment at all” =) no hate or anything intended Mr. LK2.
Anyways, now to MY comment =) I the graphics appear to be quite similar to Minecraft, so that leads me to wonder, are they usuing the same base graphic codes that minecraft uses? 0.0
Interesting about Minecraft. It would very well be as you said. It is something worth investigating. 😉
No offence taken! 🙂
The graphics are ok…. As I said, I don’t play video games, so I can’t really judge this one…
Rescuing dolphins & choreographing dance routines, yay? No thanks.
“Players are able to pick their character’s outfits, hairstyles, and accessories, select a pet or design and personalize their character’s bedroom.” Why? Little girls are already hit over the head with commercials and TV shows that tell them how important looking good and having nice things is.
I look for toys and video games that get kids to look at the world in new ways. I’ll go with LEGO Star Wars & Super Heroes video games for the girls and boys I buy for.
It seems like we have similar opinions…
I rather have action. 🙂
Rose, different people like different things, and the good thing about LEGO is that it gives us plenty of choices. So yeah, LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Super Heroes, LEGO Friends – they are all great! 🙂
In my opinion friends is (sorry Friends fans), horrible. I’m not a fan of Super Heroes, but atleast it is better than Friends.
Awesome! That beautiful games brings back memories. Kids love to play with those toys.
My daughter love this game so much, thanks for sharing the video
You are welcome. 😉
Okay. I can understand why you guys don’t like Friends, because I don’t either. That’s only because I’m not into all the girly stuff at all, and I’m more into the action.(Which causes some choice comments about me being a girl and the fact that my favorite show is Ninjago. Mostly the Lego part.) But that doesn’t mean other people don’t like it. I have a niece who is OBSESSED with those, and that’s fine with me. The Lego company created certain things to attract certain audiences, even though it sometimes attracts people they probably didn’t plan to.
What if a Friend’s Fan said they didn’t like Ninjago?
