2014 LEGO Super Heroes Batman sets

This kind of flew under the radar, but a couple of the 2014 LEGO Super Heroes Batman sets are now available. Both of them are small sets, so they won’t break the bank, but they contain some iconic characters that are worth adding to your LEGO Super Heroes collection. So let’s check them out! 🙂

LEGO Super Heroes Batman Flash Minifigure

#76011 LEGO SUPER HEROES BATMAN MAN-BAT ATTACK: Join the fight as Batman battles to save Nightwing from Man-Bat! As Nightwing patrols Gotham City in his glider, he spots Man-Bat planting some dynamite! Strap BatmanT into the ultra-fast Batcopter, fire up the powerful engine and zoom over to help his friend foil Man-Bat’s attack on the city. And if Nightwing gets into trouble, lower the Batcopter’s working winch and hook and tow the glider to safety. Includes Batman, Nightwing and Man-Bat minifigures with assorted weapons. 184 pieces. Price: $19.99 – BUY HERE

#76011 LEGO Super Heroes Batman Box

We haven’t seen Nightwing since 2006 in the #7785 LEGO Batman Arkham Asylum set, so he is definitely a collectible minifig. And Man-Bat is a first. He looks quite like the Collectible Minifigure Series 8 Vampire Bat, and the Bat Monster from the #9468 LEGO Monster Fighters Vampyre Castle. So now we have three different colors of evil LEGO bats for some serious fright; reddish-brown, dark-brown, and black. 😈

#76011 LEGO Super Heroes Batman

#76012 LEGO BATMAN THE RIDDLER CHASE: Pursue The Riddler’s Dragster and call in The Flash to catch him! The Riddler has robbed the Gotham City bank and is getting away in his ultra-fast dragster. Pursue him with Batman in his sleek new Batmobile, but watch out for the bombs being dropped by the dragster. If The Riddler manages to get away, call in help from The Flash, The Fastest Man Alive! Will he arrive in time to save the day? Only you can decide! Includes 3 minifigures with assorted weapons and an accessory: never-before-seen Batman (with new suit) and The Flash, and The Riddler. 304 pieces. Price: $29.99 – BUY HERE

#76012 LEGO Super Heroes Batman Box

The most exciting character in this set is of course The Flash; first time in LEGO’s history! And Batman has a new suit – this time in gray (“very-very dark gray” – as he said in The LEGO Movie trailer). Plus this version of the Batmobile is quite sweet and the flick-fire missiles are placed in a reasonable angle for shooting. And the dragster looks decent too.

#76012 LEGO Super Heroes Batman

If you are interested in either of these LEGO Super Heroes Batman sets they should be available by now at all LEGO retailers as well as at the Online LEGO Shop.

First Comment! Cool minifigs, I like Manbat, Nightwing and The Flash. Maybe I can use them to win an Emmet Award… 🙂

    only 2?

    • admin January 24, 2014, 12:10 PM

Yeah, only two for now. We will talk next week about the upcoming Marvel sets. 😉

      • Meneldur January 24, 2014, 7:18 PM

Hmm, I saw a couple other DC sets. One was with the Joker and what appeared to be a shrunken Robin. The other was Batman vs. the Penguin.

        • Fikko3107 January 25, 2014, 4:58 PM

It’s not a shrunken Robin…It’s Damian Wayne, son of Bruce Wayne who started his Robin career at a very young age.

hey oh! neat sets! I have seen both of these at stores and I’m thinking! “wha?! oh hey that’s cool. but where is the other ones?” why would they just release two and not all of them? 😕

    • BLProductions January 24, 2014, 8:28 PM

I don’t know why. A lot of themes have been delayed in the US this year. I think that if I was not saving up for Technic, ninjago, and Star Wars, I would try to get it.
Quick Question, since I don’t know much about these things: Who is the Riddler? Which Batman movie is he in?

      • Chris of Yoda Archives January 25, 2014, 2:27 PM

The Riddler was the 90’s batman movie, Batman Forever. He was played by Jim Carrey. Two-Face was in it as well.

        • Fikko3107 January 25, 2014, 5:06 PM

The Riddler is Edward Nigma (See what they did there? Edward Nigma? E. Nigma?) In the comic continuity (Yes, I’m going to ignore the Batman Forever continuity), a guy obsessed with puzzles and riddles. He has this compulsion to always do riddles-even if it spoils an otherwise perfect crime. In short, he’s a very classic member in Batman’s Rogue Gallery.

And why does everyone assume that all good Batman foes have appeared in movies, anyways? How about Hush, or Anarchy, Red Hood (Jason Todd), Killer Croc, Killer Moth, Hugo Strange, Victor Zsasz…and the list goes on. Practically a lot of characters from the Batman: Arkham videogame franchise.

Wait red hood is a bad guy?

  • NinjagoNerd36 January 24, 2014, 1:02 PM

    O_O The Riddler is in a set….With Flash….And Batman…MUST GET! ;D

  • NinjagoNerd36 January 24, 2014, 1:03 PM

BTW, the Riddle is my favorite Batman villain. =P

  • Micho January 24, 2014, 2:27 PM

Well my favorite DC character is the Flash, so I should be getting this on sale. But… “WHERE’S MARSHA??? MARSHA MARSHA MARSHA!!!”
    😀

old AND in mint condition =)

        • Fikko3107 January 25, 2014, 5:10 PM

I still prefer the old, classic Nightwing, IMO. (Before someone makes a joke-I’m not referring to the Disco Suit-Nightwing.)

  • Brick addict January 24, 2014, 6:43 PM
