LEGO Sales & Deals – more sets added!

LEGO has been doing a little house-cleaning on their website this week, and added a number of items to the Sales & Deals section. Below I will show you some of the more notable items, and you can check out the full selection under the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop. 🙂

LEGO SALES & DEALS – LEGENDS OF CHIMA: LEGO Legends of Chima is getting retired and most of the remaining stock is on sale. This includes one of the most impressive LEGO Legends of Chima sets, the #70146 LEGO Legends of Chima Flying Phoenix Fire Temple. Originally $119.99, the set is now on sale for $83.98, which is about 30% off. That’s a good deal for such a beautiful set and rare Chima minifigures. You can find all of the LEGO Legends of Chima sets on sale under the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop.

LEGO SALES & DEALS – PIRATES: The #40158 LEGO Pirates Chess Set is on sale! The set itself is fun for playing chess, but it also has some neat hidden features you might not notice from just the picture. The two side scenes are attached by Technic pins and can be removed to create a larger beach scene. And the chess board has four hidden compartments underneath to store the minifigures. Speaking of minifigs, you get 20 of them – both pirates and bluecoats – so the set is also a great way to build up your armies. The original price for this set was $59.99, and the current sale price is $49.79. It is available under the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop.

LEGO SALES & DEALS – LEGO CITY MINIFIG PACKS: The LEGO City Police and LEGO City Fire minifig packs are both 50% off! You can get four minifigures in each for only $7.48, plus a bunch of accessories. All the minifigs in these packs are nicely detailed with some of the newest designs. Most of them have front and back printing, and even printings on the legs. You can pick some up for yourself or for resale. LEGO City Police and LEGO City Fire minifigs are perennial favorites. You can find them under the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop.

LEGO SALES & DEALS – MOVIES: LEGO Legends of Chima: Legends of the Fire CHI – Season 2 Part 2 includes 11 LEGO Legends of Chima Episodes on two disks, with a running time of 242 minutes. LEGO Star Wars New Yoda Chronicles – Complete Collection includes all four The Yoda Chronicles episodes with bonus alternate ending, and a running time of 88 minutes. LEGO Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu Rebooted – Fall of the Golden Master includes Episodes 5-8 and a bonus pilot episode, with a running time of 88 minutes. All three of these DVDs are fun and entertaining for kids and even adult LEGO fans (yes, I definitely enjoy them as an adult). And they are all on sale at about 30% off. You can find them under the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop.

LEGO SALES & DEALS – MINDSTORMS: There are a number of LEGO Mindstorms accessories on sale, including various sensors and the rechargeable battery. Anything related to LEGO Mindstorms tends to be quite expensive, so it is nice to have an occasional sale at least on the accessories. You can find them under the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop.

There are some other odds and ends on sale, so it is worth browsing the Sales & Deals section, and more will likely be added as new sets get released. For some of the items you will need to call in to confirm that there are still available. Others you can buy directly through the website. Also, I should mention that the missing LEGO Nexo Knights sets and packs are now available under the LEGO Nexo Knights section of the Online LEGO Shop.

I was wondering if the new robot “brain” can be used on the old robot. Any idea? We have the old set and I really don’t want to put out the money or the new. Just curious.
    Thanks

Hm… I’m not familiar enough with Mindstorms to answer that. LEGO’s customer service should be able to answer it though. I’m sure they get this question regularly from those who have the previous version. I would suggest that you call them.

There’s no Mindstorms fanbase around? I think you could get good replies on Lego message boards and such, as well…

Not so many Mindstorms fans here, and I myself never built with Mindstorms. But yes, there are definitely people who are totally into it. 🙂
