More LEGO freebies for the holidays!

There is a new promotion at official LEGO stores and the Online LEGO Shop that started a few days ago; you can get a free LEGO Holiday Reindeer Ornament with purchases over $50. This offer is valid through December 24th, or while supplies last. 🙂

The set includes pieces to build a cute reindeer ornament that you can hang on your Christmas tree with the included golden string. A nice quality dark-green satin bag is also included. You can use it to store the ornament after the holidays are over, or perhaps give it away with small gift items.

The second freebie is the LEGO Jurassic World Minifigure Pack with four key characters and a little dinosaur from the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom film. This offer is valid on all purchases over $99 until supplies last. I expect this freebie to run out pretty fast, as this is a very popular minifigure pack that is very hard to find otherwise.

There is a third, unannounced holiday freebie for LEGO Star Wars fans as well. The metallic-looking LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Pod is back! This offer is available with the purchase of the #75251 LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader’s Castle we talked about previously (see: LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Castle Review). You can find the set at the LEGO Star Wars section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Also, remember that if you are a proud owner of the Black VIP Card, you will get the super exclusive #5005747 LEGO VIP Star Wars Gift with any LEGO Star Wars purchase until January 31st, 2019. You should have gotten an email by now with a special code to claim your special cardholder. As far as which sets to purchase, take a look at the LEGO Star Wars section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Once you have the sets you want in your shopping cart, makes sure you take a look at the Sales & Deals section of the Online LEGO Shop before you check out. There are lots of smaller sets, and various gift items that are on clearance sale and would make great gifts and stocking stuffers.

Also, remember that you need to place your order by noon EST on December 20th, if you want to make sure your package arrives by Christmas. Delivery by Christmas is not guaranteed for orders placed after this date.

What do you think? Is there anything left on your Christmas LEGO shopping list that you still want to get? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

That ornament is butt ugly! I would have gotten it just because I’m pretty obsessive about having everything in a series but I wouldn’t even want that sitting inside its bag in my closet. UGH!!!!

What were they thinking? I have a feeling their supply of this one is going to last just fine.

My kids think it’s cute. They have been already working on similar decorations for our Christmas tree. The eyes are expressive, and the design can be used as a template to make more animals. My son says he likes the antlers. 😀

I am glad to think they’ll enjoy it and that it will spark creativity for them.

I bet it will make them proud to see their ornaments on your tree.

        Merry Christmas!

I definitely want to get the Jurassic World minifigs. Not sure about spending another 100 bucks though. What should I get?

Well, it’s hard to make a suggestion without knowing what you like. If you are into a particular franchise like Star Wars, Super Heroes, etc., you check out the different themes, If you prefer LEGO’s own collections like LEGO City, LEGO Creator, etc., you might want to check out those. Or, if you build your own customs, look for sets that has the parts you would find useful. Also, instead of one big set, you might consider several smaller ones. If you give us more hints on what is your preference, others might be able to give you some ideas. 🙂

Are the freebies stackable? Like if you get the Darth Vader Castle do you get all three?

    • admin December 15, 2018, 11:57 AM

Yes, they are! If you get Darth Vader’s Castle, you will get the Holiday Ornament, the Star Wars Pod, and the Jurassic World minifig pack. Keep in mind that all the freebies are available until supplies last, so if you want all three, you should place an order as soon as possible.

However note that Darth Vader’s Castle currently shows as out of stock. This means you can order it, but there will be some delay in delivery. In cases like this, LEGO often sends the freebies ahead of time in a separate package. 😉

The Darth Vader pod is back! Cool!!!! I wish it’s available with other sets too not just the castle. But still cool.

What I’m looking forward to is the Lego Movie 2 sets and the Overwatch sets. I didn’t preorder them, but I plan to get them as soon as they are available. I don’t think I need anything else before Christmas.

I bought 76087 Flying Fox: Batmobile Airlift and 76092 Mighty Micros: Batman and received Jurassic World and Reindeer promos! I spent $99.98 but received two promotions! I’m so excited because Jurassic World is going for about $30 and Reindeer is about $10. I’m keeping all of them for the future and hopefully I can sell them for much more. I feel like I got a great deal. Thanks, Lego! They do a great job with promos…
