2021 LEGO Harry Potter Sets Available for Pre-Order

Today, the LEGO Group and Warner Bros. Consumer Products have revealed a new captivating mix of LEGO sets to help young witches and wizards explore the enchanting adventures of Harry Potter’s second year at Hogwarts.

From the tantalizing tactics of Wizarding Chess to Polyjuice Potion trickery, the sets are packed full of popular characters, creatures, and imaginative features to help young builders reenact their favorite adventures from the films, as well as crafting magical storylines of their own.

While the enchanted walls of Hogwarts set the scene for many of the new sets, builders can spread their wings and explore the rest of the wizarding world by taking flight with the fiery feathers of Dumbledore’s beloved Phoenix, Fawkes, or visiting the snow-capped streets of Hogsmeade Village. Many of the sets also interconnect to extend the play into different areas of Hogwarts.

A number of the new sets come with an exclusive golden minifigure to mark the 20th Anniversary of LEGO Harry Potter. For years, LEGO play has helped Wizarding World and LEGO fans feel even closer to the magic, and these collectibles mark just some of the characters that have helped them play out endless memorable moments across two decades of LEGO Harry Potter.

My favorite are the Hogsmeade houses. They might even go well with the Vinter Village sets.

I thought the same thing. I’m not a big HP fan, but I like that set.

… or with city sets. There are a couple of other really nice sets there that can be used in non-Harry Potter venues.

Depends on the style of the surroundings, I guess. But at least in rural village areas, and such.

I love them very much and am so excited to get them

Hmm, I’m not a great Harry Potter fanatic, so to me the most interesting parts are the hairpieces and the neutral black female head of Professor Sinistra. The latter a part we need a lot more of.

There are also rumors that a golden Dumbledore would appear in some huge D2C set later this year.

It looks like only three of the sets are available to order today . The large Harry Potter and Hermione, the chess set and Fawkes the Phoenix. I just ordered Fawkes the Phoenix.

    • Thita (admin) April 16, 2021, 10:34 PM

Yeah, I saw that. I’m not sure why only those three show up. Hopefully, the others will be available for pre-order soon as well.

If we pre-order those sets that are available now, will we get double VIP points when they ship on June 1?

    • Thita (admin) April 16, 2021, 10:33 PM

Hm… good question! I would suggest putting them in your cart and see if it shows up as earning Double VIP Points. Otherwise, customer service should be able to tell you. I can’t ask my contacts at LEGO, as it is already after hours in Denmark.

      • Håkan April 16, 2021, 10:55 PM

Yeah, I thought about trying to synchronize my order of the upcoming Daily Bugle set* with a summer 2x VIP drive**, if it wouldn’t be available on the Stockholm store at that time. According to some other AFOL fan, it’d usually work, although you might have to do some arguing with Lego Customer Service after the set has been shipped and charged.

*Although I need some more info before buying such a big set, It sounds tempting so far, but it’s a huge expense and project to handle.

**Seems that 2x VIP point drives usually occur roughly around March, June and October each year, looking up Brickset’s news archives. I don’t feel like ordering the set for full price on early VIP access to catch some GWP or something, since the delivery’s been pretty disastrous since the Covid pandemic, anyway…

        • Thita (admin) April 17, 2021, 9:59 PM

That seems like a good plan. But yeah, you may need to call customer service to make sure you get the Double VIP Points. It’s worth a try. 🙂

          • Håkan April 18, 2021, 9:21 AM

Yeah, I’m counting on it going out of stock pretty soon, and needing to be put on back-order, anyway.
