You might remember that last year, during the Comic Con at Home event, LEGO was running an online custom LEGO Comic Creator. This is a fun little activity to create your own custom minifig and place them in a story, then have the finished comic sent to you. Below are the details.
Create an adventure brick by brick by using the LEGO Comic Creator! First, build a LEGO minifigure character. Then, choose a universe to explore (Star Wars, Spider-Man, or Batman). Finally, answer eight questions to build an adventure! Printed comics will be mailed to the first 10,000 participants, and PDF versions are also available. In order to serve as many families as possible, please limit the number of printed comic books to no more than three per household.
If you’re interested to participate, visit LEGO Comic Creator to begin building your custom story. And if you would like to share your character and which universe you picked feel free do discuss in the comment section below!
I hope it doesn’t cost anything because I just did it, I just made my character and chose a Star Wars theme. Now is this just to e-mail or can they actually send me a copy or do I have to print it up on my own? In which case I realize I don’t have a printer but my mom does. And if so is there a way to send what is created to my mom so she could print it? I’m not very tech oriented.( I did read all the private policies and everything listed and so I didn’t see anything about cost just that they’re not responsible if things go screwy on your devices).
Did you get the email from them. You can download the comic from there to read it. Then send email to Your mom to print it.
Cool! I just made my character and answered the questions. I suppose I’m fine with just a PDF, but if they send it to me, that’s fine too.
Hmm, I like comics as a medium, but this… I am still on the fence, I guess…
It only works if you live in USA Canada or Mexico. I am from Australia and it won’t let me submit. Disappointed. Oh well.
Printed copy arrived yesterday. It has a nice glossy pages and look just like the PDF copy. The LEGO pictures are sharp and clear.
I got my printed copy as well! It’s pretty awesome! 🙂
Yo it doesn’t work anymore
Sorry guys is not work any more
There is something wrong with the site that I am trying to begin
