LEGO Winter Village Santa’s Visit Press-Release

The LEGO Group is ushering in the festive season with the reveal of its LEGO Santa’s Visit set, the latest addition to the Winter Village collection. Below is the press-release will all the info.

The charming new #10293 LEGO Winter Village Santa’s Visit set is ready to welcome Santa and his reindeer, and sure to bring to life the special excitement felt during the holiday season. The design centers on a cozy little house, where a family are busily getting ready for Santa’s arrival. Cards are collected from the mailbox; gifts have been wrapped and treats have been put out in anticipation of the most exciting time of the year. Once the build is complete, all Santa needs to do is drop down the chimney to spread some Christmas cheer!

Santa’s Visit offers a new, novelty building experience for the whole family. It forms part of the popular Winter Village collection, which includes the #10267 LEGO Gingerbread House from 2019 and the #10275 LEGO Elf’s Club House from 2020. Both are still available at the LEGO Creator Expert section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #10293 LEGO Winter Village Santa’s Visit set is bursting with tiny details, such as a fireplace with stockings, a chimney (with enough space for Santa to slide down through), a child’s bedroom, a detailed kitchen with decorated dinner table, milk and cookies to leave out for Santa, and a comfy chair for him to curl up in.

It also features Winter Village’s first illuminated Christmas Tree! Just press down on the top of the tree to trigger the light-brick hidden inside. The house is also decorated with boughs of holly and includes a snowy gate with mailbox. At the back, a roof panel articulates outwards for easier access to the upstairs bedroom. The model measures: 19cm high, 27cm wide, and 16cm deep, and comes with 1,445 pieces and four minifigures.

Chris McVeigh, LEGO Set Designer commented: “The holiday season is always a magical time for my family. It’s been fun to inject a few of my own family traditions and experiences into this set from the new Christmas cookie to the hidden gifts.”

The #10293 LEGO Winter Village Santa’s Visit set is available exclusively for LEGO VIP members from the 16th September and from official LEGO stores and the Online LEGO Shop from the 1st of October. Prices are as follows: €89.99 / $99.99 / £79.99 /159.99 AUD / 139.99 CAD. This reminds me of one of the old winter village sets. I forgot what it was called. Anyway, it looks great!

It’s pretty! I like that it’s an inverted corner building. I already know where I’m going to put it in our winter diorama. I’m very pleased.

I love the design, though I do wish it wasn’t the same colour as the Winter Cottage from several years ago.

Lovely! I like the L shaped layout and the double roof.

I like everything but the green claw decorations. I suppose they could be changed out easily.

Although I love the color, I’m a bit disappointed that it’s the same as the Winter Cottage. I wish it was at least a different shade of light blue.

It’s not the same blue. It’s a shade lighter. It’s the same two shades as in the detective’s office.

Seems to be Bright Light Blue/ Light Royal Blue and Medium Blue, then… Lego’s got quite many different shades of Blue…

I’m glad they went back to the realistic winter village sets. This is really well done. I’m sure it will be a pleasure to build!

I was always sad I missed out on the cottage. This is the next best thing, I suppose. I like both the house and the Christmas tree. Although I don’t quite understand how it light up.

I like this a lot. I just wish it had a vehicle.

I love it!! I love the idea, the shape, the colour and all of the lovely details such as snowy fence, smooth mounds of snow, bird house, tablecloth, decorations on the outside. I do wish the parents had new winter torsos – we need some Christmas sweaters!! But otherwise this is a magical set that feels like it goes back to the original winter village aesthetic. Even though I enjoyed the gingerbread house and elf clubhouse, the more realistic buildings somehow seem more magical to me! I know that sounds odd; I can’t really explain it!! I will actually be placing this in my layout at the opposite corner to the original cottage but even so it doesn’t bother me that the colours are similar.

I love these holiday sets! wish i had known about the earlier ones! I have the gingerbread house, but need to add the elf club house and this Santa’s visit to my colleciton- I wonder if they will have a gift with purchase at some point? I always helps me feel less guilty for spending this much on a set

Angela, I’m sure they will have a gift with purchase. They always have them for the holidays! 🙂
