LEGO fans have been requesting farm life sets for quite some time now. There has been a number of farming-related sets in the LEGO DUPLO line for younger children, but not very many in the regular LEGO collection. However, recently LEGO released a few LEGO City sets related to farming. Let’s take a look!
The smallest set in the collection is the #60344 LEGO City Chicken Henhouse. It comes with two chickens, two eggs, a chicken coop with opening doors and a sliding egg-collection tray, a small ATV to drive around the farm, and a young woman wearing cute overalls. In the video-review below by JANGBRiCKS, you can see the set in detail. The LEGO City Chicken Henhouse is only $9.99 and is available at the LEGO City section of the Online LEGO Shop.
The #60345 LEGO City Farmers Market Van features a veggie patch with pop-up carrots, peppers, grapes, corn (new piece), a watering can (new piece), a bunny, and a farmer plus two customers. The van comes with a serving window, opening side doors and rear doors, and even more veggies, like pumpkin, apples, and bananas. The brick-built carrot on top of the van is a nice touch. This is a great set to collect various food items and start a small farm in your LEGO city layout. The price is $44.99, and the set is available at the LEGO City section of the Online LEGO Shop.
One of the larger sets in the new farming-related LEGO City collection is the #60346 LEGO City Barn & Farm Animals. There is so much to see here, but I think the highlight is the adult and baby cows, sheep, pigs, a squirrel, and there is also a good selection of veggies and farm equipment. Another nice feature is the printed tile on top of the barn. This set is $69.99 and is also available at the LEGO City section of the Online LEGO Shop.
Yet another fantastic set with farm produce is the #60347 LEGO City Grocery Store. This nice little supermarket is stocked with all kinds of produce and comes with a couple of vehicles, a shopping cart, and lots of fruits, veggies, flowers, and more. You can also attach the store’s road plate parking lot to other LEGO City sets for a larger layout. The five minifigures include the LEGO City Adventures TV series character Mr. Produce. This set is also $69.99 and will be available from August 1st at the LEGO City section of the Online LEGO Shop.
Adding farm produce and farm animals to your LEGO city can give it more life and interesting details. What do you think? How do you like the new LEGO City Farm sets? Do you have any of them already? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

These sets are surprisingly good.
Got and built the chicken coop and the truck. The only thing holding me back from the others has been the price.
But many of the parts in these are interesting. The stalks in the truck set are especially fun!
I also bought and built the chicken coop. Nice little set. The highlight of the farm is clearly the animals, But the price seems high.
I’d consider the store and maybe add a few floors of apartments above.
I like several of the parts here, such as the animals, food, hairpieces and the shopping cart. I likely won’t buy any whole sets, though, unless there’d be a heavy price reduction.
I want ALLLL the animals, and the corn stalks. I’m rather hoping they make a set of extras for the farms, like they did for carnival and the beach, but with animals instead of minifigs.
