Hello, and welcome to my page! I go by the alias ninja5, and here you can read a little bit about me, and access all my articles. I began building with LEGO around 2005 when I was about 3-years-old. I remember playing with my uncles’ old ‘80s sets at my grandma’s house. At age four I received my first building set… however it was actually not LEGO but MegaBloks. After that, though, I was hooked on LEGO. At first I didn’t pay any attention to LEGO themes and mainly played with LEGO City sets.

In 2009 I noticed LEGO Power Miners, and it became my favorite theme. By 2010 I was a full-fledged KFOL (Kid-Fan-of-LEGO) and LEGO Club member. In 2011 I became interested in LEGO Ninjago, but I didn’t get any of the sets.  My mom dubbed a “scary theme” because of the skeleton warriors. Later that year she gave up on preventing me from getting “scary sets” and I could buy anything I wanted. And that’s what I’ve been doing since! Below are a few more – mostly random – facts about me:

1. I’m a blue belt in Taekwondo.
2. I’m a vegetarian.
3. I love ancient Greece and Rome.
4. I like video games, but I don’t own a gaming console.
5. I have an iPod touch, 2nd generation.
6. I love LEGO… duh!
7. I’m homeschooled.
8. I am an amateur filmmaker.
9. I enjoy doing Parkour.
10. I love to read books. My favorites are Eragon and Redwall.
11. My favorite subject in school is history.
12. I have been to China, Ireland and Korea.
13. My favorite online LEGO game is either Chima Online or Dino Outbreak.
14. My favorite food is either quinoa-salad or pasta with pesto.
15. I play the piano, and can play the song “Everything is Awesome!”
16. I have read The Lord of the Rings books and loved them.
17. My favorite superhero comic is Nightwing.
18. I own a katana and nunchaku.
19. I’m running out of things to say…
