Are you a fan of Pirates of the Caribbean? Would you like to win some cool LEGO prizes? Well, here is your chance! 😉
Two new Pirates of the Caribbean LEGO building contests have been announced at Eurobricks. Both LEGO contests have really generious prizes, and there is plenty of time to enter.
➡ The first one is a building contest: build a MOC depicting a scene or vessel from any of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. See details, rules, prizes and how to enter here: EB Pirates of the Caribbean Building Contest
➡ The second is a story-writing contest: Write a short story (300 words or less) about the classic LEGO Pirates encountering the characters/vessels/locations from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. See details, rules, prizes and how to enter here: EB Pirates of the Caribbean Story Writing Contest
You have just about a month to submit your entry! The deadline is the 9th of July to finish your LEGO creation. So what are you waiting for? Start planning and building! And you may also want to check out Tips for Winning a LEGO Contest! 😛
Thanks for the head’s up. I’ve been thinking all day and finally have an idea for a story. 300 words is really tough, though. I’ll see what I can come up with and post a link once I finish.
Sarah, I thought you would be interested in this! 😉
There is no rush, almost a month left! 😛
There’s no rush, but when my brain latches onto something, it runs like the wind. And here’s my entry:

I even did a picture for it. 🙂
I entered too!

Good luck, guys! I like both of your stories! Very original and I love the subtle references to LEGO themes and elements! 😀
I may enter as well. To the building contest. I just have to see about my time. 3 weeks is really not that much time for a major MOC.
Yep, if you are entering the building contest 3 weeks is not much! Especially for a larger MOC! 😐
Anybody from here entered the building contest?
I’m not sure, David. I hope those who do will let us know. 😉
UPDATE: The first entry to the building-contest emerged! Check it out! 😉
