I have mentioned in my first post on the 2012 LEGO NINJAGO sets that now the spinners have some kind of insert (as you see on the picture above). I’m still not sure what purpose these serve. Perhaps to stabilize the minifigures a bit more? We shall see…

I’d put $ that Lloyd Garmadon becomes Lasha. Based on the booster pack pics the body is the same size, the spinner has the same attachments and Lloyd doesn’t have his own spinner.

I believe this is NOT a fluke. Again one of those father vs son storylines. This plot is WAY overused but I’m not complaining.
Other than the Green Ninja, who apears to be Lloyd ZX, I am most excited about Cole NRG. It looks as if we will finally see a more accurate replica of the scythe.

Not everyone has turned earth, they just haven’t put details on the card. Have you noticed that every card has the same sp? It is part of the same thing.
Yes, don’t forget that many of these are preliminary images that really not supposed to be seen by the public. It just just to give retailers an idea what sets are coming up so they can prepare. Another example is the Monster Fighter sets that show Collectible Minifigs. These are just standins until the real figures are designed. 😉

Parker, how may I help you? Please remember that only Episode 1 and Episode 2 of NINJAGO Rise of the Snakes has been officially released. There are some partial further episodes that can be watched on YouTube. I have listed them in a comment above. Just a reminder that these episodes are partial only, and although nice to watch, may only confuse the story. The person uploading them has been careful not to show parts that can be spoilers.
Is there things you have done to establish your good relationship? Just wondering for my website. I wouldn’t expect you to have a good relationship because you have posted many links to videos I would expect Lego not to like.
Ninja, yes, I have several contacts at LEGO and I’m also an affiliate with them. You can talk about rumors, speculations, upcoming sets, etc., but you should never post images that are stamped confidential. If LEGO discovers it (which it will, if you are big enough) you will get a nice “Sease & Desists” order. If you don’t comply, they will take legal action and your website can be shut down. It is really not worth it. Especially comparing it with all the perks you can get by maintaining a good relationship. 🙂
I sometimes link to videos (if you guys bug me enough), but I don’t post them in an actual post unless they are legitimate. I also have links to videos and other news – that are interesting to LEGO fans but may not be completely legit – on my YouTube channel and Facebook Page. So far that hasn’t been a problem. If it is, I’m sure LEGO will let me know.
Rest assured that LEGO monitors LEGO fan sites very closely. They have “spies” all over the place. You will hear from them sooner or later. 😉

Ninja, I don’t work for LEGO. I do have official contacts with the LEGO company, and I do have friends who work at LEGO. Pretty much the same that you would fine with most larger LEGO fan sites. Brickset, Eurobricks, BrickLink all have member who work for the LEGO Group. I mean if you love LEGO you are bound to know some persons who work there. 😉

Thanks Saad that was pretty good. At least we know why Zane is pink but it cernainly doesn’t reveal anything about the mysterios samurai. I’m almost 100% sure its Nya but I wonder why she knocks them out.

Saad, that is a good question. I would assume that you could get Jay’s spinner even if you don’t spend $75, as it is not an exclusive. But if you do spend $75 you would get it for free. At least that is my understanding from the information I got from LEGO.
also i want to ask, mabey a bit eraly, but who thinks there is going to be lego ninjago in 2013. Are lego going to take a break oris there somthing elese or is that the end of lego ninjago forever. I am not rich like all you lot, but according to my calculations, i wont be able to by all the lego nijago spinners (i only by soinners and starters sets) till 2013.
Saad, I think Ninjago will go on as long as LEGO fans are interested. It is a very popular line right now, and it is good for LEGO too because they don’t have to pay licensing fees like for Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc.

Pia, there are special after Christmas sales that LEGO will be running starting on the 26th. This will be happening both online and at local LEGO stores. (Some of the Ninjago sets will be on sale too.) I already got the list of sets that will be on sale, but I’m not allowed to share it until the 26th. Part of the promotion is that anybody who spends at least $75 will get the Jay spinner free. Hope that’s more clear. 😉

All I can say right now that Ninja vs. Pirates does make sense to me from the marketing perspective. LEGO hasn’t had a pirate set for some time now (besides Pirates of the Caribbean), so this would be a great opportunity to have too popular themes (ninja and pirates) together. I like it! 😀

I said that I have heard rumors that Jay may be the Green Ninja some time back when the stories just started circulating, but I have also updated that with the most current info we have; which is that it seems that the Green Ninja is Lloyd (because of the spinner we have seen). I’m not fully convinced on that yet though. I think the story is more complicated than that. Anyhow, remember; there are all kinds of rumors circulating and we will only know for sure once we see all the episodes in full. So, we just have to keep working on unraveling the mystery. 😉
Alright you guys are good but some of you are a little slow. I found a rumor that Lloyd ZX, A.K.A. the Green Ninja, is going to get the 4-headed dragon. Also someone (I forgot who) mentioned that lloyd would make perfect sense because his shirt was a GREEN number 5 on it. He would be the 5th ninja and he is green. Nya is Samurai X so forget about her. One question to everyone, Why would they add Lloyd if he would only be evil for a few episodes?
We are not slow. We have seen the vidio with the four headed dragon and Lloyd ZX quite a while ago. Also it appears as if you are saying that the only point of adding charactors to make them evil. That is a strange point of view.

I just had a thought. Lord Garmadon, if you look at the ninjago characters page is a master in the power of destruction, which is all four elements. If lloyd is his son, and the green ninja, lloyds element could be destruction. This would explain why in episode 6, i think, zane said that the green ninja possesed qualities of the other four ninja. Admin, could this be true?
I think so but on the other hand i don’t cause he’s riding a big four head dragon with every symbol of wn element on it but i wouldn’t choose green as destruction normally black (Wich has cole ) or pueple
i know what you mean, but think about it. Like you said cole’s suit is colored black. But Pythor is purple and Zane was pink for a while You’re right, it doesn’t make sense but what ninja-ish colors do they have left? Yellow, brown, orange? Green makes the most sense to use for a ninja.

Interesting concept! What we do know is that the green ninja posseses all the qualities of the other four ninjas. We have also seen the Green Ninja spinner, which is appearently Lloyd’s. Destruction is not really an element, so I’m not so sure about that. Also, Lloyd, with all his mischief, doesn’t seem to be an evil character. That is why he left the school for bad-boys. He wasn’t bad enough, so he couldn’t fit in. 😉

the snakes don’t have elements, they are labeled on their tribe: hypnobrai, fangpyre, anacondrai, venomari, and constrictai
So do we have a figurine of each tribe available from all the sets released so far? I know that Pythor is his own tribe so I’m speaking about the other 4. Can someone post which tribe each snake belongs to?

VIE, yes, I have seen those! they are great! I especially like the one when the police is pepper-spraying the peacefully sitting protesters. Using the orange headed Space Police Alien for this was a stroke of genius! 😛
What about the card symbols for the snakes they have some power just look at the cards. They mite not be the rite symbols but they do have different powers.

BTW, did you guys get the new LEGO catalog yet? I got mine today and heen looking over it all afternoon. Full of the new sets! It is just a bit different experience to see the 2012 stuff in a printed magazine then online(and of course best is to see them in person!). Anyhow, those spinner-inserts are called “spinner crowns”. Also, the four-armed Lord Garmadon has a very interesting torso-extension with kind of a built in armor piece. I haven’t seen this set in person yet, so it is nice to see some close-ups of the set and the minifigs. Pretty cool, I would say! 🙄
admin, i was reading the inscription for samurai x spinner and it said… HE will not reveal himself i think it should be HE or SHE because samurai x is nya. 🙂
Pia, good eyes! I read that too! I think LEGO is using “he” there because the Ninja’s think that the Samurai is a he, and Nya wanted to keep her identity a secret. What do you think? 🙂

I got the new catalog, and I just realized why four-arm Garmadon looks so ugly. It’s the legs. The legs look wrong on a body so tall. Fortunately I found an awesome replacement. First take the tentacle piece from the Atlantis squidman. Next paint it black. Finally replace Garmadon’s legs with the black tentacle piece, and tah dah! You have an awesome snake-king Garmadon! Also a black cape could always look cool too! 😉

Is it just me or do you never respond to my post?
Parker, I’m not sure who you asking you to respond and to what question. Also, please note that here we are mostly discussing sets that were barely released or will be released in the the future. Most people don’t even have them yet. Members here are helping each other out as much as they can. We all share the passion of the LEGO hobby, but please remember that we all have jobs/school and families to take care of. We are not LEGO gods. 😉

Parker, I looked thru my new LEGO Catalog, and I also checked LEGO’s website to see any info on which snake tribe is strong in what power. I haven’t found any details. However I did find some YouTube videos that are reviewing the new sets. On some of these reviews you can see the cards. Hey admin do you know when lego is going to change the ninjago page? I was on it earlier and saw how the green part of the red bar on top was almost at the ends of the screen. I think when the bar is all red the homepage will be ninjago 2012 related. So do you know when they are change the page?

I got my Samurai X & Lasha today . Samurai X has 2 faces, Nya’s face and the a male face similiar to Lloyd Garmadons.

Igot my lego cataloge. It is really good. Thing is there are only two jay things (spinner related) jay zx booster pack and kendo jay for if you buy somthing more than £50 in lego. No jay spinner. Jay and green ninja and loyd garmadon (unincluding nya as she is samurai x) are the only ones that dont have a spinner. I know loyd is the green ninja and all, but there is still hope for jay. Also i want to pount out, why is cole the leader??? he hasn’t done anything interesting and he has no leadership skills.
Saad, yes, I noticed that too. I also hope that Jay will have a separate spinner set without having to spend a fortune. If not, you may be able to trade with someone or just get it on BrickLink. I’m not sure why Cole is referred to as the leader. All four ninjas have their special skills and talents, and none of them really stand out as a leader above the others. Enjoy your LEGO Catalog! 🙂

VIE, you can buy creal LEGO bricks in quantity on BrickLink. However I would advise against putting LEGO out in the elements. Especially clear LEGO. They will get extensive sun-damage pretty fast. Clear LEGO turns yellowish under too much light. If you do buy clear LEGO on BrickLink, always buy new to make sure they are clear and not yet yellowed. 😉

admin thanks, also when is the lego magazie coming ot??? it said in january so should be coming and still the lego site hasnt changed. it needs t turn green and addnew sets nd spinners and new charecters and vdeos, i understand you are freinds with lego so can yo please tell them t change the site quick!!! I just want to point oy jay is special because he is the only ninja (and sensai wu) to have no dx spinner and cards???

I know this shoulld probably be on your SW forum, but when I was looking through the new catalouge it only shows one of the new SW sets.
P.S. I am a huge CW fan as well. I hope they make ARC Trooper Fives!
Ninja, actually several of the new SW sets are in the Catalog. The Planets sets, the TIE Fighter, the new X-wing and the Y-wing. They may not be new to us as we have seen the images early, but they are all part of the 2012 release. I will spend some time developing the SW section some more so you guys can hang out there as well. The ARC Troopers are awesome! 😀

So from all the sets we’ve seen so far do we have any Constrictai or Venomari figurines yet? I guess Lasha is Venomari so we are left with Constrictai & Anacondrai (Pythor) for the summer sets alon with the Green Ninja.

Ninja, don’t worry. First of all they are not my videos. If anyone would get in trouble that would be Xmas Toys. 😉
Second, LEGO doesn’t just sue people. If they have any problem with anything anybody posts online, LEGO will contact them nicely and ask them to take the copyrighted or confidential information down. If they don’t comply they may take some legal action, but unlikely. Most likely they would contact YouTube, or the hosting company and ask them to take down the video or shut down the website. That would be the worst that would happen if the the person doesn’t play nice. BTW, I have contacts at LEGO’s legal department. If there is anything they don’t like on our website they would let me know. 8)

Saad, you might want to ask him. I doubt that he works for LEGO – it would be garanteed that he would loose his job. Getting a job with LEGO is extremely difficult, and one would have to be really stupid to risk that. Perhaps he works in video-production or at Cartoon Network or something. But again; I suggest you ask him directly. 😉
