Saad, I guess this is a good time to build and enjoy the Ninjago sets and spinners we already got. I just went thru and organized all my Spinjitzu cards last night. I like new stuff but not too frequently. It would just remind me that I don’t have all the money to buy everything. Right now the focus is on Lord of the Rings, and Monster Fighters is coming out shortly, so there is actually still plenty to talk about. 😉

That’s a though question as Ninjago is very popular, so there is no reason for anyone to sell them for a very low price. In my opinion Amazon is one of the best places to shop for LEGO (see the link to the Amazon LEGO Shop in the right-hand side-bar), but only if you are directly buying from Amazon (not from an Amazon affiliate). Because of low prices, free shipping, and no tax to most states, usually this ends up being the best deal. Also, sometimes eBay has really good deals, but it takes a lot more work to find them. 🙁
If you are a kid, another option is trading with other kids. This actually works really well in communities where a lot of kids are into LEGO. My brother has been getting the LEGO he wants this way for years. I’m so jealous of him!
Yeah, trading often works quite well – although I only do it with my brothers and sisters. It’s actually best if they come to you; then you pick what you want!
It would actually be quite fun if we could all trade! Like I have a bunch of Series 7 minifigs I’m going to list on BrickLink this weekend, because I have duplicates. I also have tons of BrickForge, BrickArms, etc. I’m sure someone would want them, and there is stuff I would like. Too bad we are all over the place! 🙁
I don’t have any duplicate minifigs! Then again, I don’t get all the minifigures; the most I have from any series is 11. But speaking of trading, I just traded the small clown w/o his pie for two series three minifigs with my sister! 😉

I’ve been building and practicing with the new kinds of weapons the NRG characters have. It’s a good way to sharpen your skills! Just out of curiosity, how many cards do you have, Admin?
I just counted them the other day and I have 30. I actually haven’t payed that much attention to the cards until you started writing about them. I normally just play Spinjitzu with the spinners and I even gave some of my cards away. But the cards are really nice both as collector’s items and for enhancing the game. This is what I like about blogging; making friends and learning from others. 😉
Playing with the cards does make spinners a lot more complicated! I find it’s a good idea do a couple rounds w/o cards if you’re playing with someone who’s new to the game. Otherwise they tend to get kind of boared! As far as cards go, my ninjas couldn’t survive without them!! 😉 My brothers (who both like using lloyd) would kill Kai ZX in a heartbeat!! I’ve actually wanted lego to come out with some sort of card game long before ninjago – I was just a little too late for Orient expedition and Knight’s Kingdom 🙁 I’ve also always loved ninjas – so I really liked ninjago!!!
You bring up some really good points here! LEGO did an excellent job making Spinjitzu a multi-layered game. Which is actually pretty hard to do and quite rare. You can play just with your spinners (fun!), you can build an arena around your spinners (great for kids who love building too – I have seen some really extensive Ninjago arenas), you can add the cards to make the game more challenging (great for card-game fans), or you can just collect the cards (great for collectors). Oh, and of course there is the whole world of Ninjago sets separate from the spinners. If you think about it, this is a really epic line-up! 😀
It is! I especially like the idea of the four elements – the entire thing is really great. And like I said, I really love cards! 😉

Pythor, with the Ninjago Season over, and summer break coming, it is natural that less kids will comment on the Ninjago section. Although I’m pretty sure hard-core Ninjago fans will stick around. 😉

Well, thanks Saad! Yeah, rumors are fun to talk about. I didn’t hear any new rumors about Ninjago recently. I think the summer is going to be a bit quiet as far as Ninjago rumors, although I know for sure that gid617 is churning out some more interesting new posts for Ninjago fans. 😉
As far as the LEGO Club Magazine, I believe it comes out 4 times a year, so my guess is the next one should be in August? I’m pretty sure that by that time the magazine is going to include something. At least some teaser for sure. Like they did with the Green Ninja.

I just looked it up on LEGO’s website and this is what they say: “The LEGO Club offers a FREE magazine that is mailed to your home six times a year (January, March, May, July, September, and November in the US). In Canada, the magazine will be mailed to your home five times a year (January, April, July, September, and November). Depending on your child’s age, he or she will receive either LEGO Club Jr. or LEGO Club Magazine.”
Well. . . not necessarially in August, since that’s really July-August. I’d say more like in Sept – Oct. We might be getting some more rumors before that, though!

There’s still a lot to discuss about the old rumors, though. I don’t really think they are real. Where would the ninjas get htere weapons from? I dont’ think garmadon is just going to hand them back and then spend the rest of the season fighting for them! And why are there four temple keys and only two bands of pirates plus the stone army? It dosen’t make a whole lot of sense to me!
Yes, those are good questions. I do remember though that the description of the previous season didn’t make much sense either. LEGO is good at giving just enough to raise interest and start lots of rumors and speculations. 😈
I’m also sure Garmadon isn’t going to just hand back the weapons. Also, I’m curious of what happened with Pythor. 😕

Didn’t Samukai disintegrate when he held the four Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu? I don’t think he’ll be back. 😕
Also if some of the season 4 (before we realized that season 2 was season 1, so now season 3) episode rumors are correct, the Serpentine might be needed to help the ninja fight Lord Garmadon. 😉

Yes, I know that! I hope they will; I liked it when the Skeleton army battled the snakes. And I relise that Samukai does appear to be gone, but I htink there must be somehting more to him. After all, he really played a minimum role in the first series (since I guess I can’t call it the first season!) and he must have some sort of background!

admin in terms of playing with the spinners what do you think the bestcards are/best weapons.Also what figures doyou think are really good at sticking to the spinner and which ones are bad. Also whichare the best balenced and which are worst
In my opinion i find the skeletons good at sticking to the spinners, but nuckal with his big head is really unbalenced. What do you think???
The best cards are probably Backup Plan and Total Recall. Of course, there are also a lot of other good cards – especially the new Duel burst, which has 0 SP! 😉
The best overall weapon is definatly a chain. It’s not easy to lose with a chain. I also use a chainsaw – which isn’t an official weapon but who cares – and sometimes a staff of the dragons or a scythe or the dragon sword of fire. the Dragon sword of fire is very unpridictable, at least, for me. And of course, I use all golden weapons. Maybe it’s not legal according to the rules, but if Sesnsei Wu can do it, why can’t Kai?! 😉

I have found though that spinners with crowns are much better to protect minifigs from falling out. Also, minifigs with short legs are great at sticking to the spinners. I also really like the chains! I can’t say that they are the most effective, but they are certainly fun! 😀

You mean write one about the best weapons/cards? Sure! Characters with short legs are certainly good at sticking; also, it seems like the newer the Minifig/spinner combination, the better it sticks. Really, what’s nice about a chain weapon, especially the half nunchucks, is that it’s very hard for your opponent to catch it with enough force to throw you. It won’t actuallly konck them down, at least not very often, but it works very well as a defensive weapon – especially if you’re Lloyd buried in a spinner crown (that’s who my brother plays with, so I’ve learned first hand! 😉 ). And while I myself am not really sure about the benifit of spinner crowns on my characters, it does seem to help my brothers- especially lloyd, who is almost inaccesible! Another really great thing about short characters is that they can’t stand on one leg! No use in playing Shaky Bones! Oh well, if I keep going on like this I’ll never finish 😉 😉
Yeah, that’s why I said the question may require a whole post to answer. There is a great video I have been meaning to add to a Ninjago post (perhaps I will add it to one of yours if the topic is right, or just write one myself), where Cole battles Fang Suei. Fang Suei has a spinner with a crown, while Cole doesn’t. The final score after nine spins is 9:0 in favor of Fang Suei. It seems to me he is better protected because of the spinner-crown. Or it could be their weapons too; Cole is using a katana, while Fang Suei has a snake. 🙄
It certainly is an extensive topic. I lean more tword teh weapons being the problem with Cole, because it seems to me that a spinner crown is just too low and to far out to afford much protection. Of course, I could be wrong, but I have found that the shorter the weapon, the better. Mainly because your goal is not o hiet your opponent, but just to hit thier weapon. Most characters are too strong to be knocked out by getting hit: most likely you’ll be the one that ends up loosing! I actually do think that a snake is a fairly good weapon, mainly because of the way it curves.

well, I’m kind of new to this, but how often do you normaly get leakes about things like this? I mean, like how much did you know last June about this season? Anyway, I do think there will be at least one more season – Lego clearly set it up just right at the end of this one! 😉

To be honest, I don’t remember when we first got leaked info on the previous episodes. I’m not particularly good with dates and last summer is a blur anyway. I do remember that one of our readers sent in a leaked dealers-catalog that I published, and promptly got a friendly but stern letter from LEGO’s lawyer. LOL! Since then I have made friends with him, but that is the dark and shady past of TBB. 😈
I think the first leak was thepicture of the snake and ninjago 2012. Then the trailer then xmas toys put some episodes up.
We justhave to be patient i guess. Lego are beingvery secrative…

Admin the spinners are quite uniquein the lego theme because you can playwith them a full game if you know what I mean. After ninjago do you think there will be somthing similar?
Probably. But I don’t think Ninjago will end for a couple years. It is nice how the ninjago theme has actual lego peices incorportated into the game! 😉
