The New Year is here, and LEGO wants to make sure it starts out with a bang! So many new and exciting sets have been released already for the New Year (you can read about them here: More 2013 LEGO Sets are Now Available!) and LEGO released a bunch of new 2013 LEGO set videos to let you know about them and highlight all the playability and cool features. I thought to share with you some of the best ones. 😛
➡ 2013 LEGO LEGEND OF CHIMA VIDEO: this new theme is being heavily marketed by LEGO right now (see: LEGO Legends of Chima – More News!). We talked about the TV show commercials extensively, and here you can see a couple of the larger sets in action! You can check out all the details and buy the new LEGO Legends of Chima sets here: 2013 LEGO CHIMA
➡ 2013 LEGO STAR WARS VIDEO: there are lots of interesting new sets for LEGO Star Wars, and none of them are too big or expensive. So if Santa gave you some cash, and you like LEGO Star Wars, here are some sets you can spend it on. You can check out all the details and buy the new LEGO Star Wars sets here: 2013 LEGO STAR WARS
➡ 2013 LEGO NINJAGO VIDEO: the future of Ninjago is still a bit uncertain, however there is a whole new wave of sets that are still worth checking out. They came out right around Christmas, so it is likely that many people missed them. If you are a Ninjago fans the Golden Ninja is definitely a must! And some of the smaller sets are also really nice. You can check out all the details and buy the new LEGO Ninjago sets here: 2013 LEGO NINJAGO
➡ 2013 LEGO CITY VIDEO: more police and firefighter action – a perennial favorite of the target age-group. One set I particularly like is the #6007 LEGO City High Speed Chase with Chase McCain and those 6-stud wide vehicles. You can check out all the details and buy the new LEGO City sets here: 2013 LEGO CITY
➡ 2013 LEGO FRIENDS VIDEO: the LEGO theme developed just for girls continues to go strong. This year a lot of small sets and a couple of medium sets have been added to let the Heartlake City girls branch out into different and diverse hobbies. You can check out all the details and buy the new LEGO Friends sets here: 2013 LEGO FRIENDS
So what do you think? How do you like the videos above? And which theme or LEGO set is your favorite for 2013? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below! 😉

I really like City, and Ninjago. So this year’s gonna be tough. 😛
I like the new city sets WAY better than the old ones.
Yeah. They’re still doing a little too much Police, which is kinda strange since LEGO is so against violence. 😛
Police and Fire LEGO sets are perennial favorites. I know for older fans it gets a bit tiresome to see them every year, but the fact of the matter is that practically every boy goes thru the phase of being fascinated with police action and firetrucks. It is not so much about violence, but about goodguys fighting badguys and heroes saving people from dangers. LEGO focuses on this aspect of both of these professions – not about the violence and horror that can also come with it.
I actually like Lego City. There is alot of detail in the City sets. I heard they actually design the buildings in the sets, from real buildings! They go to the place and when they reach back they design it. I am really looking forward to the new Lego City sets. I may also get some Star Wars,Galaxy Squad, and Chima. I like how Lego City doesn’t have any violent sets because parents may also watch what type of toys they are buying for their child. Other than that,I am really looking forward to the 2013 lego sets! But why did they bring out all the cool sets at once? 😕
Yes, LEGO City is a really nice way to introduce LEGO to kids and also to real life. I was reading once that in Europe LEGO City is the #1 LEGO theme because both parents and kids appreciate it. 🙂
Obi-Wan Fan, police keep violence from happening. It’s not like you can keep people from being bad guys. I mean, there is a police helicopter hovering around my neighborhood almost every day.
I have nothing against it, I just think that they should spread a little instead of focusing on Fire and Police. Like the admin said, lots of younger kids like fire and police, but I wish they would make it a little more appealing for older fans.
I know! I guess the ones for older fans are Modular Buildings.
But they cost so much. 😛
While Chima isn’t my thing (too cartoony), I have no doubt that will be a very successful theme.
looks like lego will have a good year with chime and other stuff
cool
BTW this is off subject, but check out my LEGO Led Zeppelin minifigures I made!

They look really-really good! Nice combinations! 🙂
Thank you!
Awesome minifigs Nace You made them yourself? You did great!
Thanks! Got the idea of using the face I used on Jones from someone else’s figs, but that’s pretty much it. I got the idea of using Bilbo’s shirt on Plant from this picture.

BTW I’m talking about Bilbo’s red shirt, not his Shire outfit. I guess that was a bad picture because both Page and Plant look like their wearing one of Bilbo’s shirts.
I’m really looking forward to these sets! The Undercover police sets especially!
they’re cool but in the Ninjago commercial they got the story wrong 😉
OK the ninjgo one doesn’t make sense
you really b******
