LEGO Super Heroes fans, and specifically Iron Man fans should be very happy with the whole line-up of LEGO Iron Man suits coming out this year! Below is a picture by flickr member Solid Brix Studios, lining up the two LEGO Iron Man minifigures from 2012, and the three new suits coming out in 2013. Aren’t they just sweet? Especially when lined up like that? 😉
You can click the image for a larger view, if you like to take a closer look. Notice how the printing gets more and more fancy on the Iron Man Suits. Also, the LEGO Iron Man’s released in 2012 have duller gold highlights on the suit and the helmet compared to the 2013 versions. Below is a picture of the new Iron Man suits from the back. The heads come with double-sided printing to give Tony Stark plenty of expressions.

Amazing printing isn’t it? The new LEGO Iron Man Suits are scheduled for release later in the year with the LEGO Super Heroes sets based on the new Iron Man 3 movie coming in May 2013. Here is the extended trailer from Super Bowl weekend to give you a taste. 😛
If you don’t want to wait until then, you can get the new LEGO Iron Man suits from sellers on eBay. They are expensive, but if you want to be the first kid (or adult) on the block who owns them, eBay is your friend!

They are pretty sweet, but like we had talked a while back, I think that they should just include an Ironman printed head, and a Face-mask lifted ironman head instead of that big ol bucket head. Yes, there is an Iron Patriot minifigure. At least there is a picture of him. It is not yet clear if he will be a promo, or in a set not yet seen. 😉
