The LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles so far included a very interesting trailer (link at the end of this article), then some disappointing mini-episodes. However it looks like LEGO is gearing up for a lot more…
➡ First of all you can go to the LEGO Star Wars homepage and click on the glowing stars. Each of the stars reveals another short episode, a screen-saver or some other info about The Yoda Chronicles. Some of the episodes are actually pretty good (like the one featured below). More stars go “live” as time passes, so go back regularly to check for updates.
➡ Also, inside the latest LEGO Club Magazine there is a mini-magazine dedicated to LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles, which includes an introduction to the story and more info on what to expect:
Count Dooku has hatched a sinister scheme to use a Kaiburr crystal to create an army of evil warriors with enhanced Force powers. The wise Jedi Master Yoda has hidden the crystal away in a secret location, but as his former apprentice, Count Dooku knows exactly where to find it.
When the Kaiburr crystal is stolen, it’s up to Yoda – along with some old friends and new allies – to get it back before it’s too late. But who is the mysterious Jek-14… and what role will he play in the fate of the galaxy?
LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles unfolds throughout 2013 in the LEGO Club Magazine, online at LEGO.com/StarWars, and in an all-new trilogy of animated episodes on Cartoon Network.
Catch the first episode on May 29th and come back to the next issue for another special LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles collectible mini-magazine!
Within the mini-magazine there is also an interview with the LEGO designers behind The Yoda Chronicles. It is revealed that they have been working on a unique ship for The Yoda Chronicles, which will come with four very cool minifigures. It is also mentioned that they are doing something super cool with one of the minifigs. (Click image for larger view.)
➡ Then there is the LEGO Star Wars: The Yoda Chronicles book from DK Publishing, which comes with an exclusive Special Forces Commander Clone Trooper. You can pre-order the book on Amazon right now for $10.90, which is 43% off the cover price of $18.99. The book is scheduled to ship around July 15. BUY HERE
The first in a brand-new series, LEGO Star Wars: Yoda Chronicles features themed spreads based on the legendary Yoda’s adventures, from his leadership of the Jedi council and his duels with Count Dooku and Darth Sidious, to his support of the Wookiees in the Clone Wars and his training of Luke on Dagobah. Specially commissioned photography shows minifigures and vehicles in action, with tons of storylines and facts that kids will love.
So between the book, the LEGO Club Magazine specials, the website specials, and the cartoon, it looks like The Yoda Chronicles will end up being something pretty unique. What do you think? 😉

Awesome! I think LEGO announced it too early, so they had to keep people busy with the silly shorts 🙂
They finally got to the story! Pretty cool!
yeah fire ninja jedi. they did take awhile to get to the point. by the way like the name. 😉 FIRE NINJA JEDI! COOL
The Yoda chronicles is looking up! 🙂
march 29 eh? i’ll be there (on the couch of course) hmmm, interesting… i thought there was just going to be mini movies but i was wrong.
sorry i was gone for awhile, but i’m back! i don’t get cartoon network but i’ll just watch it on youtube. or is someone going to but it on the brickblogger? does anyone know?
i hope some body puts it on the brick blogger to but if thy dont i can just wacth it on you toub to and by the way haw old is the brick blogger admin:)
TBB is 2 years and 3 months old. And yes, I hope to be able to post the new episode! 😀
Now, compared to all the Yoda chronicles, this is more like it! 😀 I like this ‘mini-movie’ much better than the other ones.
I agree, I will probably watching for more of these, along with the upcoming TV specials. 😀
i love the yoda cronicols they are so awesome
Jek-14 looks really great. His Lightsaber arm is the first transparent arm! I see he’s getting 2 versions: The clone armor one in the book and a similar one in the Jek-14’s stealth fighter with a hawkeye hair, shiny eyes and lightsaber arm. Seems interesting.
I was also thinking that when they mentioned doing something special with the minifig they were referring to transparent minifig parts. Fans have been asking for this for years! 😀
I sure hope the arms won’t break easily…I heard transparent pieces use a more brittle plastic. And yes, It may be an arm, but does anyone think we’ll get a fully transparent minifigure one day? Maybe for a ghost or something?
The issue is that the transparent plastic is more brittle and also more rigid. It is one thing to have a tranparent part being attached to a regular LEGO part (like the arm to the torso), but it is an entirely different thing to make a whole minifigure out of transparent plastic. I’m really looking forward to this minifig though! Love the transparent arm! I already have plans to build a whole army with these guys! 😀
Yea! That minifig looks awesome! I am looking forward to the clone trooper in the book! It looks awesome!
I’m looking forward to the book and the specials. Also that’s a great deal on the book at amazon. I hope they keep it at that price for a little while.
Chris, Amazon currently also offers a price garantee ont his book. So if the price goes even lower after you pre-order it, you will pay the lower price. 😉
Yes! Now this is much better 🙂
Guys, episode 2 is out! you can see it at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zo9NfgHsdZ8
If you noticed, Count Dooku and Grievous took a “Jek-14’s stealth starfighter st the end of the video!
How awesome! Thanks for sharing! I will upload this here as well in the next couple of days. 🙂
