2015 LEGO sets news & rumors…

If you visit LEGO forums like Brickset or EuroBricks, you have probably seen all the rumors circulating about the 2015 LEGO sets. I’m not a fan of posting rumors that are not substantiated at least in some way, however several of our readers requested that I at least make a reference to them so we can discuss all the rumored sets in one place. So here you go. 🙂

2015 LEGO News & Rumors

I have put together the following list of the 2015 LEGO sets that has been reported so far. Although some of the sources seems legitimate (like retailers posting pictures too early), please take this information with a grain (maybe even a full teaspoon) of salt. Through the years I have seen lists like this many times, even with set numbers and all, that never materialized. So again, the following list is for discussion, don’t take it that it is written in stone. Also, please note that the set names are sometimes translated from other languages, so they may not be exactly right, but we at least get an idea of what they are about.

2015 LEGO ARCHITECTURE SETS: There are two sets mentioned in this theme, the #21022 LEGO Architecture Lincoln Memorial, and the #21023 LEGO Architecture Flatiron Building (originally called the Fuller Building located in New York City). LEGO Architecture is a nice theme to collect and display both at home and in the office. You can check out the current selection of LEGO Architecture sets at the Online LEGO Shop.

2015 LEGO BIONICLE SETS: We have discussed before the return of LEGO BIONICLE (see: The Return of LEGO BIONICLE in 2015!), and I believer this news is pretty solid at this point. I know that fans of the theme are jumping with joy!

  • #70780 LEGO BIONICLE Guardian of Water

2015 LEGO COLLECTIBLE MINIFIGURES: Of course there is going to be a Series 13 of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures (#71008), but even more interesting is that there is a rumored second wave of The Simpsons Collectible Minifigs (#71009). No further details are available at this point.

LEGO The Simpsons House Available Now

2015 LEGO CITY SETS: As you know, LEGO City is a perennial LEGO theme that never goes away and always offers a good number and variety of sets based on vehicles, police and firefighters, and a few other odds and ends to populate your LEGO City. Looks like next year is no different, but this time the police vs. badguys story goes to the swamps! The rest of the theme looks pretty usual. One sub-theme of LEGO City that really stood out in recent years is the currently available LEGO City Arctic series – while some people feel that LEGO City is a little bland, LEGO City Arctic is a real hit with a nice color-scheme, great vehicles, and those cute huskies! If you don’t have them already, you can check them out at the Online LEGO Shop.

2014 LEGO Sets Parisian Restaurant

2015 LEGO CREATOR SETS: Another perennial LEGO theme, LEGO Creator is the closest to the old-style LEGO sets with mostly basic LEGO elements and alternate building instructions for most sets. I think the most interesting one is the LEGO Creator Toy & Grocery Shop. It seems to fit with the #31026 LEGO Creator Bike Shop & Cafe that has been very well received and is currently available at the Online LEGO Shop. It would be nice to have this sub-theme within LEGO Creator continue – the buildings are basically smaller alternatives to the LEGO Modular Buildings line.

  • #31027 LEGO Creator Blue Racer
  • #31028 LEGO Creator Sea Plane
  • #31029 LEGO Creator Cargo Helicopter
  • #31030 LEGO Creator Red Go-Kart
  • #31031 LEGO Rainforest Animals

2015 LEGO DC SUPER HEROES SETS: I’m not a big Super Heroes fan, so can’t really comment on these, but you are welcome to share your thoughts and discuss what you think of them.

  • #76025 LEGO Super Heroes Green Lantern vs. Sinestro
  • #76026 LEGO Super Heroes Gorilla Grodd Goes Bananas
  • #76027 LEGO Super Heroes Black Manta Deep Sea Strike
  • #76028 LEGO Super Heroes Darkseid Invasion
  • #76040 LEGO Super Heroes Brainiac Attack

2015 LEGO DISNEY PRINCESS SETS: Now these I like! I’m a big fan of the first wave of LEGO Disney Princess sets that are currently available at the Online LEGO Shop, and I’ looking forward to these as well, especially Elsa’s Glittering Ice Palace. I guess this also seals the faith of the LEGO Ideas Ice Palace project we talked about the other day here.

  • #41060 LEGO Disney Princess Aurora’s Bedroom
  • #41061 LEGO Disney Princess Jasmine’s Exotic Adventure
  • #41062 LEGO Disney Princess Elsa’s Glittering Ice Palace
  • #41063 LEGO Disney Princess Ariel’s Undersea Castle

2015 LEGO ELVES SETS: This is another theme that sounds very interesting, although the actual name is yet unknown. According to what I have read in various LEGO forums, this is going to be a theme with LEGO Friends-style mini-dolls, and targeting girls. Judging from the preliminary prices I have seen, most of the sets are going to be quite substantial.

  • #41071 LEGO Elves Aria’s Creative Workshop
  • #41072 LEGO Elves Naida’s Spa Secret
  • #41073 LEGO Elves Naida’s Adventure Ship
  • #41074 LEGO Elves Azari & The Magic Bakery
  • #41075 LEGO Elves Treetop Hideaway
  • #41076 LEGO Elves Farran & The Crystal Hollow

2015 LEGO FRIENDS SETS: Friends have been a huge hit for LEGO, despite naysayers. Girls love them because LEGO finally figured out what they want, and adults like them too because of the great variety of accessories, beautiful colors, and cute animals. Notice the pizzeria, another family house (the largest set in this series), a lighthouse and a hot air balloon! And you can also check out the current selection at the Online LEGO Shop.

  • #41085 LEGO Friends Animal Care Clinic
  • #41086 LEGO Friends Mobile Pet Care
  • #41087 LEGO Friends Rabbit Mother with Babies
  • #41088 LEGO Friends Puppy Training
  • #41089 LEGO Friends Foal Care Stable
  • #41090 LEGO Friends Olivia’s Garden Pool
  • #41091 LEGO Friends Mia’s Sports Car
  • #41092 LEGO Friends Stephanie’s Pizzeria
  • #41093 LEGO Friends Heartlake Hair Salon
  • #41094 LEGO Friends Heartlake Lighthouse
  • #41095 LEGO Friends Emma’s Family House
  • #41097 LEGO Friends Heartlake Hot Air Balloon
  • #41162 LEGO Friends Animals Series 6

2015 LEGO JUNIORS SETS: I actually really like the LEGO Juniors line, mostly because of the beautiful printed parts and some of the specialty elements. You can read our previous discussion on the topic here: LEGO Juniors –  No Stickers, Pretty Prints!

  • LEGO Juniors Beach Trip
  • LEGO Juniors Pirate Treasure Hunt
  • LEGO Juniors Garbage Truck
  • LEGO Juniors Fire Suitcase
  • LEGO Juniors Supermarket Suitcase

2015 LEGO JURASSIC WORLD SETS: This is a brand new theme coming and something LEGO fans are very excited about. The dinos are going to be back! There are five rumored sets within the theme, but no details as of yet. I’m really curious to see how these look like! 😀

2015 LEGO LEGENDS OF CHIMA SETS: This is another theme that is going really well for LEGO. Especially the last wave with a major extension of ice and fire tribes as well as more animal species was excellent, and the 2015 list seems to indicate another boost for them. You can check out the current selection at the Online LEGO Shop.

  • #70220 LEGO Legends of Chima Strainor’s Saber Cycle
  • #70221 LEGO Legends of Chima Flinx’s Ultimate Phoenix

  • #70229 LEGO Legends of Chima Lion Tribe Pack

2015 LEGO MARVEL SUPER HEROES SETS: Not much concrete information on these, except that that there are six sets and they are coming. We can discuss these later in the comment section below when more news becomes available.

2015 THE LEGO MOVIE SETS: We just recently discussed that The LEGO Movie sets will continue (see: The LEGO Movie – More Sets in 2015!), so it is nice to see an actual list. I’m a big fan of The LEGO Movie sets and can’t wait to see pictures of these. In the meantime you can check out the current selection at the Online LEGO Shop.

  • #70817 The LEGO Movie Batman & Super-Angry Kitty
  • #70818 The LEGO Movie Double-Decker Couch

2015 LEGO NINJAGO SETS: Look like there is another big push for LEGO Ninjago. They are probably trying to fill the gap between now until the LEGO Ninjago movie comes out in 2016. Oh, and the Anacondrai are back!

  • #70745 LEGO Ninjago Anacondrai Crusher
  • #70746 LEGO Ninjago Anacondrai Copter Attack

  • #70755 LEGO Ninjago Lloyd’s Jungle Raider
2014 LEGO Sets Ninjago

2015 LEGO PIRATES SETS: Another new, or more accurately, resurrected LEGO theme! Lots of excitement for these amongst LEGO Pirate fans! (We have discussed this upcoming theme before here: LEGO Pirate Ship The Brick Bounty Coming). Of course the biggest draw of this line is going to be the pirate ship, but the fort and outpost also sounds interesting.

  • LEGO Pirates Shipwreck Defense
  • LEGO Pirates Soldiers’ Outpost
  • LEGO Pirates Treasure Island
  • LEGO Pirates Soldiers’ Fort
  • LEGO Pirates The Brick Bounty

2015 LEGO STAR WARS SETS: There are a lot of rehashes in the LEGO Star Wars line, which is probably going to be the case until the new movies come out. Minifigs and building techniques have been vastly improving though, so I don’t mind to see some remakes, but others are getting a bit tiresome. Below is the list of the upcoming sets, and you can also check out the current selection at the Online LEGO Shop.

  • #75072 LEGO Star Wars MicroFighters ARC-170 Starfighter
  • #75073 LEGO Star Wars MicroFighters Vulture Droid
  • #75074 LEGO Star Wars MicroFighters Snowspeeder

  • #75089 LEGO Star Wars Geonosis Troopers
  • #75090 LEGO Star Wars Ezra’s Speeder Bike

2015 LEGO SUPERCARS: I assume these sets are in continuation of LEGO’s relationship with Ferrari and Shell, and similar to the previous releases in the same line.

  • #75899 LEGO Supercars LaFerrari
  • #75908 LEGO Supercars 458 Italia GT2
  • #75909 LEGO Supercars McLaren P1
  • #75910 LEGO Supercars Porsche 918 Spyder
  • #75911 LEGO Supercars McLaren Mercedes Pitstop
  • #75912 LEGO Supercars Porsche 911 GT Finish
  • #75913 LEGO Supercars F14 & Scuderia Ferrari

LEGO TECHNIC SETS: Technic is another staple theme for LEGO, characterized by advanced building techniques, and very sturdy vehicles with accurate functions. Many come with alternate instructions and even motorized. Below is the list of the upcoming sets, and you can also check out my review on some of the most recent releases here: LEGO Technic 2014 Highlights & More! and the current full selection at the Online LEGO Shop.

  • #42032 LEGO Technic Compact Track Loader

  • #42039 LEGO Technic Long-Distance Race Car
Shop LEGO Technic Sets

2015 LEGO ULTRA AGENTS SETS: Ultra Agents is a really exciting spy/hacker/agents theme, and I’m glad to see a second wave coming. I highly recommend that you check out the currently available first wave at the Online LEGO Shop. LEGO Ultra Agents comes with a great story, excellent sets. Also they are non-licensed, meaning this is LEGO’s very own theme. I always liked non-licensed sets better because LEGO doesn’t have to conform to someone else’s idea and design, therefore the sets really showcase LEGO at its best!

  • #70166 LEGO Ultra Agents Spyclops Infiltration
  • #70167 LEGO Ultra Agents Hidden Gold Robbery
  • #70168 LEGO Ultra Agents Drillex Diamond Theft
  • #70169 LEGO Ultra Agents Secret Agents Secret Use
  • #70170 LEGO Ultra Agents UltraCopter vs. AntiMatter
LEGO Ultra Agents Review

Phew, that’s a long list! Again, I will repeat what I said at the beginning; take this all with a grain of salt. However you are welcome to share your thoughts on these upcoming sets even though they are not officially announced yet. Also, if you find any updates you can post them in the comment section below, so we can all keep track of developments. So what do you think of all of this? 😉

    Speaking of Ninjago…
    Behold the Anadondrai!

    • legozebra September 4, 2014, 11:39 AM

That was a prototype of the Fangpyre minifigure… The picture was released back in 2012 when TLG was talking about developing the minifigures on Lego club’s website.

  • Crazybricks September 4, 2014, 10:31 AM

I am excited for new ninjago sets and I hope those sets are real because those sound awesome

But does this mean Hero Factory is over

    • admin September 4, 2014, 10:36 AM

I would say that it makes sense if that would be the end of Hero Factory as the two themes are too similar. I’m planning to pick up some of the mini heroes before the theme is over. They are great!

      • Narrator_Bob September 4, 2014, 11:26 AM

Personally, I always thought that hero factory was the bionicle universe in the future, and that eventually there would be an episode where the hero’s discover this. I guess I was probably wrong if those new sets are correct though.

        • admin September 4, 2014, 12:57 PM

That is actually still a possibility. LEGO often ties together different themes like that. I like your idea! 😀

    • ninja of stealth September 5, 2014, 1:09 PM

I’ve heard crazybricks that Bionicle is better than hero factory. now that I think of it. LEGO is making a lot of the old themes again. Binonicle, pirates, and so on. so let me be the first to say… finally.

      • ninja of stealth September 5, 2014, 1:09 PM

        opps 🙄

        • lego trooper 91 September 6, 2014, 7:26 AM

well evin if hero factory isint really tide in with bionicle you can still pertend and that is a really cool idia

  • legogeek September 4, 2014, 10:45 AM

Looks like the Ultra Agents are getting some new villains!

  • Sherrie September 4, 2014, 10:46 AM

guh! isn’t lego stretching themselves a bit thin?

    • Håkan September 4, 2014, 11:05 AM

Possibly. They sell like hot cakes, though.

Btw, Mixels seem to continue in 2015.

      • admin September 4, 2014, 12:56 PM

Yes, I forgot to include Mixels Series 4, so I will write about them separately.

    • admin September 4, 2014, 12:55 PM

Some people do say that… they seem to be all-rigth though as their profits are exploding, but I do know some LEGO fans who are starting to get overwhelmed by the number of amazing sets coming out. There is such a thing as too many good things…

      • ninja of stealth September 5, 2014, 1:11 PM

tell, me about it. with all these ninjago sets coming out, I don’t think I’m going to get the X-1 ninja charger. like the set HATE the scene it was in.

  • Brick addict September 4, 2014, 11:11 AM

YES pirates! i cant wait to get those sets! 😀

  • Narrator_Bob September 4, 2014, 11:16 AM

I don’t see how lego could make a double decker couch set, because the double decker couch already comes in metalbeard’s sea cow.

    • Narrator_Bob September 4, 2014, 11:18 AM

Although maybe lego realized that a lot of people who can’t afford the sea cow want the double decker couch.

      • YTjedi September 4, 2014, 11:47 AM

Maybe this double decker couch will be made of clear parts like when they’re inside of Emmet’s head (so that it’s a different version of the couch). Probably not, but it’s an idea.

        • admin September 4, 2014, 12:58 PM

That would be awesome! Great idea! 😛

      • admin September 4, 2014, 12:56 PM

A lot of people in fact have been asking for that.

    • Narrator_Bob September 4, 2014, 11:20 AM

Also, isn’t bad cop’s police car just a different form of his hovercar?

      • legozebra September 4, 2014, 11:40 AM

Basically… It was the version he used with wheels before it went off the train tracks and transformed.

  • legozebra September 4, 2014, 11:41 AM

Btw admin I am sorry about the delay in posting my article, but I had to retake all the photos after I accidentally threw them out while clearing up space on my computer… My apologies.

    • admin September 4, 2014, 12:58 PM

No problem there. There is always so much to write about, so I’m never short on articles. You just write whenever you feel like and have the time. 😉

  • YTjedi September 4, 2014, 11:45 AM

I am really hoping #75087 LEGO Star Wars Anakin’s Custom Jedi Starfighter is the one named Azure Angel from the earlier Clone Wars animated series.

    • FirstJediKnife September 5, 2014, 8:52 AM

Agreed. I already have two others (one green and one yellow) that are pretty much the exact same. It’s the reason I’ve held off on the snowspeeder so far. Already have two from other sets that look to be about the exact same (just without the new minifigures).

  • LegoUniverse Bob September 4, 2014, 11:52 AM

    • ninja of stealth September 5, 2014, 1:19 PM

once you said Lgouniversebob, everything (else) is awesome, that made me want to break out into song. 😀 (but that would have been embarrassing. ) oh yeah, speaking of Ninjago, awesome! but I don’t think this is real because mentioned in the comic con that there would be more ninja (on there team? I’m not sure.) but these sets don’t mention any other ninja, just annicondri. but it was officially announced at the comic con more ninja, not annicondri. so I think the sets with the serpentine mentioned are not real. does anybody get what i’m saying or am I speaking nonsense? 😕

      • lego trooper 91 September 8, 2014, 1:31 PM

i sing the troll song when I’m happy la la la la la la la LAAA oh ha ha ha ha hha ha la la laAAAAAAAAA la la la la la oh listen to that sweet molasses

  • Kim September 4, 2014, 12:35 PM

So many exciting things on the horizon. I”m a little disappointed with the City selection but I’m definitely excited about the potential of Creator Beach Hut and Toy & Grocery Shop. The Lego Jr’s Beach Trip and Supermarket Suitcase sound intriguing too. And of course, I will get that pirate ship I’ve always wanted!

    • Håkan September 4, 2014, 2:56 PM

I find most city sets have been rather bland for decades, just a rehash of old conflict- and action-based themes around police, fire and construction, and way too few female minifigs.

      • admin September 4, 2014, 2:59 PM

I forgot where I read this, but someone said that due to the lack of diversity in LEGO City sets, most minifigs would be homeless or in jail. 😉

        • Håkan September 4, 2014, 3:24 PM

…deeply longing for some female companionship…

          …of any kind…

        • BLProductions September 4, 2014, 4:19 PM

Creator and custom houses come in handy here…. And it seems to be even worse in Classic Town, according to the first paragraph in this: http://brickset.com/article/12064/classic-lego-sets-classic-town-residences 😉

        • Kim September 4, 2014, 4:27 PM

In one my older town set ups I actually had some purposefully poorly constructed apartments for the “bad” side of town.

          • admin September 4, 2014, 8:29 PM

That’s funny. I actually just saw a really cute MOC with a trailer park. Powerty in LEGO actually looks cute, which is kind of funny and scary at the same time. 🙄

            • Kim September 4, 2014, 8:42 PM

              hee hee

              • Håkan September 4, 2014, 8:43 PM

                I like cyberpunk Lego!

      • BLProductions September 4, 2014, 4:13 PM

Well, there have been quite a few females in City recently, including Arctic. But I agree how everything seems to rotate around the Police. As well as bland. 😕

        • admin September 4, 2014, 4:20 PM

Yeah, we really need a school, a library, a grocery-store, a hospital… so many things. Blame the rehashes on little boys who are fascinated with police and fire sets. 🙁

          • Kim September 4, 2014, 4:29 PM

Yes, all of those would be great. Of course, I suppose like I think someone already sort of mentioned, it does leave a lot of room for making MOCs based on those things too. But it would be nice to have more variety at the same time. A better balance.

            • Håkan September 4, 2014, 5:18 PM

Playmobil is actually far better in this aspect. As well as in gender balance.

  • I can’t believe Bionicle is returning! I guess LEGO realized it was one of their biggest money makers 😛 I never got any Bionicle sets cause they were retired about when I became a LEGO fan. So I will not be buying any of them… but I am happy for all the Bionicle fans out there that will not be getting more sets! 😀

  • I am REALLY disappointed that the Elven sets are… minidolls…. 😡 When I heard that there was going to be Elf sets I was going crazy… and then I found out they would be minidolls…

  • One more thing, I am looking forward to the imperial star wars sets coming out, to go along with my imperial army! 😀

  • ninja of stealth September 4, 2014, 1:21 PM

Interesting, especially about the ninjago sets, the jungle? Okay? anicondrite? (or spelled something like that? 😀 ) Awesome! (so there not extinct, hmm, interesting. all the sets sound cool but none of the vehicles have Kai or Zane’s name in it. I haven’t seen the last two episodes so I’m I bit concerned. even though the titanium dragon might be about Zane. I’m not sure. but no Kai maybe Kai doesn’t get one for a change. I don’t know. these have to be one of my favorite kind of posts on here. So I’ll keep a look out for photo’s for the new sets i’ll tell you guys if you want me too. although I doubt it will be new to you guys. 🙂

    • legozebra September 4, 2014, 11:25 PM

Pretty sure “70753 Lava Falls” has got something to do with Kai…

      • ninja of stealth September 5, 2014, 1:20 PM

heh, good point legozebra. (I knew that.)

        • ninja of stealth September 5, 2014, 1:26 PM

looking forward to Ninjago, Star wars, Maybe some Marvel superhero’s, the LEGO movie, bionicle, collectible minifigures, (October! yeah!) Jurassic world (possibly based on the upcoming movie coming out next year, Jurassic world (connected to Jurassic park oh yeah!) Super cars, and ultra agents! Yep, I’m going to be broke. 😀 hey admin, when you see the photo’s can you put them on here as soon as you can?

          • admin September 5, 2014, 5:29 PM

Yeah, I’m planning to post photos once they are available. :0

            • ninja of stealth September 6, 2014, 1:16 PM

              okay cool.

  • Superweapon September 4, 2014, 3:38 PM

I’m very surprised that as far as I know no one has considered the possibility of the Elves line being a Fairy line. I personally think little girls would eat that up more than elves. Plus, the sets seem very magical.

    • Håkan September 4, 2014, 4:06 PM

Apparently the source was German, and in German a fairy is literally a female elf. Could be due to mistranslation.

      • admin September 4, 2014, 4:18 PM

Yes, the original was German, so it could very well be as you said.

      • Håkan September 4, 2014, 4:20 PM

Or there’s a word “Fee”, which corresponds to a fairy, and the more archaic word “Elfe”, which could correspond to either a female elf or fairy, depending on context. As in Sweden, which also use the words “fe” and “älva”, the distinction between the two characters is often merged,

    • admin September 4, 2014, 4:17 PM

Yes, the set names seems to indicate more fairy-type of elves rather than castle/fantasy elves. And I agree that little girls would love it! 😛

  • BLProductions September 4, 2014, 4:07 PM

OK, there’s a lot of stuff here, and, yes, I’m a little overwhelmed. 😐 But to be honest, a lot of these sets coming out are rather bland. The Technic and Creator this year is not very interesting, which is bad. City is usual (but, Swamps? That’s cool). The Elves is a big disappointment with the mini-dolls. 😕 The Ninjago sounds awesome, and the Pirates, and the new Jurassic World, which is new to me (hope it has DA dinos 😀 ). Chima sounds like a continuation of this year.
Star Wars doesn’t have very many rehashes this year, pretty much none except the AAT, since the last Skyhopper was back in 2003 or so. 😉 Super Cars seems like an adult-aimed theme.

    • Kim September 4, 2014, 4:31 PM

Jurassic World would be pretty cool. I always wanted to make a Jurassic Park set up, I know they used to have those Dino Tracker was it? But I didn’t think they were that cool.Hopefully these will be better.

      • Håkan September 4, 2014, 4:45 PM

Seems to be a substantial JP-/ Lego fanbase, based on several MOC:s I’ve seen.

There has been two themes, Dino and the “double-theme” Dino 2010/ Dino Attack (the distinction being European capturing vs. American guns).

        • BLProductions September 4, 2014, 4:50 PM

Oh, is that the difference between them? Weird. 😐

      • BLProductions September 4, 2014, 4:49 PM

I know back in 2005-2006 there was Dino Attack (which was about destroying evil dinos) and for some reason Dino 2010 (which was about trapping those same dinos). Jurassic World seems like a nicer version of Jurassic Park, maybe with updated Dino Attack Dinos, since those had great articulation. 🙂

        • Håkan September 4, 2014, 5:21 PM

Jurassic World is actually the new film in the Jurassic Park franchise, and a licensed theme.

          • Håkan September 4, 2014, 8:54 PM

Likely a lot of the newer dino/ dragon molds would still remain in stock, to facilitate a new production.

        • legozebra September 4, 2014, 11:27 PM

Yeah… LEGO made some strange decisions, like separating “peace-loving” European kids and “conflict-loving”American kids… I for one actually found it quite funny as LEGO is situated in Europe… 😉

  • Tom September 4, 2014, 6:39 PM

Disappointed by the lack of a new castle line but the new pirates stuff will hopefully appeal.

Clearly though the fact that TLG is able to (profitably) maintain so many separate lines is fantastic for those of us who MOC as it gives an incredible range of parts/colours/minifigs to explore our own ideas with.

    • admin September 4, 2014, 8:31 PM

I think LEGO Castle will come back after the LOTR/Hobbit franchise runs out, so probably the second half of next year or maybe the year after?

  • extremekaifan September 4, 2014, 7:33 PM

admin is zane going to return?

    • admin September 4, 2014, 8:31 PM

      I’m pretty sure he will…

      • legozebra September 4, 2014, 11:29 PM

With SPOILERS ShadoWind/Lavertus returning (the episode has been released in Russian at https://vk.com/video?gid=58707738) I’m pretty sure Zane will return as the Titanium Ninja as well…

  • Micho September 4, 2014, 7:36 PM

    Ariel’s Undersea Castle??? Oh myyyyy!!!…. <3 <3 <3

LOVE the fact that there is only 5 Pirate sets, makes it easy to get the whole theme 😀 … I remember posting a while back I wanted a new Pirate theme… ah the childhood memories I will relive!!!!

    • admin September 4, 2014, 8:33 PM

Yeah, Pirates and an Undersea Castle… I see a story forming there.

      • legozebra September 4, 2014, 11:28 PM

Pirates sets would be so cool if they had underwater castles and sea creature people fighting the pirates/guarding treasure…

        • Micho September 5, 2014, 6:50 PM

          Ditto!!! Pirates Fantasy Era… NICE!!!

  • extremekaifan September 4, 2014, 7:36 PM

    or not but possible

  • Droffig September 4, 2014, 8:02 PM

I was getting excited when i read “Lego Elves” Then I saw the words “Friend Minifigures” and “Aimed for Girls” and my excitement died. Although, I am really excited for the LEGO Pirates sets. Those were really cool! Cant wait!

    • admin September 4, 2014, 8:32 PM

Yeah, that’s pretty much everyone’s reaction to the elves. 🙄

      • jennygadget November 2, 2014, 1:31 PM

That’s an interesting definition of “everyone” you are using there.

  • lego trooper 91 September 5, 2014, 12:49 PM

are there going to be more tent because i really like ninja turtles

    • admin September 5, 2014, 12:55 PM

No news on new TMNT sets, but that doesn’t mean there can’t be any. Although I think TMNT ran its course.

      • Micho September 5, 2014, 6:53 PM

But the cartoon based Turtles are sooooooo cute!!! 😀

        • lego trooper 91 September 6, 2014, 7:23 AM

NOOOOO i just got in to tmnt darn 🙁 well i hope and pray for more

          • Massinissa September 6, 2014, 10:06 AM

Theres still a bunch of them to collect, and you could always buy the movie sets (although theyre really ugly) if you run out of cartoon sets.

            • lego trooper 91 September 8, 2014, 1:26 PM

i was partly talcing about the movie sets and i thin that that look really good as ugly because there is a resin that live in the sewers i think I’m goin to get the big truck with leo and rahf for my birth day

  • Massinissa September 6, 2014, 10:05 AM

Sort of dissapointed theres no new Scifi theme. Well, I havnt collected Galaxy Squad yet so maybe those sets will stay in the LEGO store this year until they make another scifi theme in 2016-7.

    • BLProductions September 9, 2014, 3:22 PM

By Sci-fi do you mean Space? According to the pattern for sub-themes, there should be a new wave in 2015, and Lego is just keeping it secret. 😉 And I too need to collect some Galaxy Squad before they’re gone.

  • Ike September 13, 2014, 6:40 PM

Ha Ha! My brother was looking over my sholder and said “wow Elvis sets!” 😀

  • Courtney September 29, 2014, 8:08 PM

I hope lego can make a new lego city theme Like medical sets why don’t they make medical sets when they have fire lego city sets and police sets

    • Anton October 4, 2014, 6:49 AM

Hi courtney. I can think of three reasons for the lack of the hospital theme.

A hospital series appeal more to girls than to boys. And girls have their own Friends sets. I do not condone this, but it is what it is.
The other issue is that a vehicle 4 studs wide can only hold a minifig if it is build with L-shaped bricks, and it makes for the build to not becomming a versatile build.
Hospital sets used to be available, I had the very old 363 hospital set (where the minifigs had no arms and could fit into a 4 stud wide ambulance). There have been others, but apparently no one to buy them

      • admin October 4, 2014, 5:19 PM

Anton, that’s a very interesting point. Thanks for sharing.

  • Rocka Raven October 23, 2014, 4:52 PM

Am I the only one that wants them to make a Lego films theme where they make small sets from films they have already covered but aren’t being continued? For example harry potter or Indiana Jones.

  • Pedro October 25, 2014, 4:48 PM

    We need more castle sets!

    • admin October 25, 2014, 9:45 PM

I think Castle will be back after the LOTR/Hobbit line is over. 🙂

  • Paulette November 4, 2014, 3:17 PM

Has anyone heard of a Sherlock Holmes set in the works?

    • admin November 4, 2014, 3:20 PM

Paulette, you might be thinking of the upcoming LEGO Detective Agency modular building. Some people think this will be a Sherlock Holmes type of setting, although others have disputed that. The set will be revealed sometime this month. 😉

  • Diane December 3, 2014, 5:00 PM

when is lego ninjago enter the serpent going to be released?

  • Brandi Wilson March 3, 2015, 9:49 AM

I am wondering if you will make a monster high lego sets

  • Jason Landrum March 26, 2015, 5:57 PM

me & a lot of lego enthusiasts were wondering if lego was coming
out with a flying dutchman ship the size of the imperial flagship
Stores would be packed for that item.

    • admin March 27, 2015, 10:23 AM

      That would be amazing! 😀
