LEGO Friends TV series Episode 4 & 5

There are a couple of new episodes of the LEGO Friends TV series, that I thought to share with you today. Whether you like LEGO Friends or not, these are some fun cartoons to watch. Each episode is about 25 minutes long. So grab your popcorn and enjoy the show below. 🙂

The first episode is titled LEGO Friends: Country Girls. It follows Mia, Andrea, Emma, Olivia and Stephanie to their trip to the farm of Mia’s grandparents to witness the birth of a new baby horse. They also get used to farm chores, go horseback riding, and get into trouble. It is a great episode overall. I thought it was funny though that Mia’s grandma looks pretty much like one of the girls. I guess people don’t age in the land of LEGO Friends. 🙄

The second episode is titled LEGO Friends: Emma’s Dilemma. This time the girls participate in a competition to raise money for city projects. As it is often the case amongst girlfriends they get into a lot of misunderstanding and confusion between themselves, but Emma’s idea for the contest may be the key to save her friendships and also make new friends.

When you said “Mia’s grandma looks pretty much like on of the girls.” did you mean “one”.

Yes, thanks for catching that. I have corrected it. 🙂

Even the men in the sets look rather girlish, so it’s not very surprising…

I had to start the first to see the grandma. Bad move Lego, bad move :P. She looks like she’s thirty. (It could work is she had had her first child when she was…nevermind.) They should have at least made the Grandfather look as young as she was, so it’s not disgusting. Anyway, (deep breath,) these videos aren’t really my thing. My siblings started one a while back, but they turned it off at the end because the song was, “embarrassing.” ( That’s what they say for lack of a word like, “cheesy” or, “corny.”) But I do think it was a good move for the Lego group to produce videos on this theme, because the whole idea of Friends demands some characterization, and not everyone goes around reading Lego product descriptions.

I want to see the grandma! Must. not. be. tempted! These aren’t really my thing either.

This show is pretty bad. And its not because its a girls cartoon (I watch My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic regularly. Also a fan of the late 80s series Jem and the Holograms). Its just… a bad girls cartoon. Nothing original about it, just traditional girls characters and girls themes. Nothing funny or even very cute.

Its just a glorified product placement advertisement. At least Legends of Chima and Ninjago had interesting enough characters. I just dont feel it here.

Though ive only watched one episode, the first one. I might force myself to watch one or two more, but I cant see that theres anything special about this show.

I will say however that I like that everything in towns looks like its made of LEGO. About the only redeeming feature of the show I saw. Come to think of it, neither Chima or Ninjago had anything that looked like it was brick constructed.

I saw the same episode (I think) on a children’s film festival earlier, where Lego was sponsoring the event. And I have to agree with you, it just felt saccharine and bland, and it shouldn’t have to. Even if it basically is a product placement advertisement, there’s no real reason why it simultaneously couldn’t be entertaining. (My Little Pony is based on an old children’s toy, as well…) I haven’t watched the shows you are mentioning, but they seem more interesting.

I kind of like the theme and the sets, though. Im positive to the basic concept, but the show just leaves me cold.

Never watched these, might give them a go.

They are actually pretty cute. Nothing too deep, but innocent entertainment.

        Nothing too ORIGINAL either…

Yeah, just generic little girls’ stuff. 😛

Hah hah hah, you all are sooo funny! I’m so glad we are friends, yaayyy!!

(That was sarcastic, unless you…though it was me being serious.)
