I have recently run across some very unique and really cute LEGO posters. There is a wall next to my LEGO display shelves that I wanted to decorate with something like a LEGO display-banner we talked about before (see: LEGO Display Banners to Decorate Your Room!), or a LEGO poster. LEGO wall-art is great for decorating your LEGO room, or even your office when you are separated from your LEGO collection. 🙂
LEGO regularly releases posters of their own; usually related to a new LEGO theme or LEGO video-game and are available either with a minimum size order, or as an insert in the LEGO Club Magazine, or as a promotional item at various LEGO retailers. I was thinking of getting something like that, but then I found an eBay store that sells their own one-of-a-kind, high quality LEGO posters that are actually even better and funnier that LEGO’s own posters, and they are great not just for kids but for adult LEGO fans as acceptable room-decor. See here: Silly Brick Pics eBay store
Silly Brick Pics eBay store has 100% positive feedback, and this is what they share on their store page about themselves: “Silly Brick Pics” is a family owned business, located in Long Island, NY. We are a husband and wife team, driven by creative input from our 6 and 7 year old boys. Hey… they know LEGO and Star Wars! We are proud to be located in the USA. Everything we sell is processed and shipped from the United States. You can shop with confidence too, since all of our products are backed by the Hassle Free Returns money back guarantee. Stop in… Look around… and we sincerely hope that you enjoy what you see!
Each of these LEGO posters are available in several sizes (usually 5×7, 8×10 or 11×14 inches). They are basically high-definition photographs of funny LEGO creations and minifigs. They are processed with high quality archival inks and printed on acid-free premium matter paper. Please note that the frames are not included so you can use them as posters or place them in your own picture-frames.
A good number of these LEGO posters are LEGO Star Wars related (we all know how cute LEGO Stormies are – see: Cute LEGO Stormies Gallery), but there are also some other ones. Each of the photos have a funny capture as well – kind of like those motivational posters that you can find at some specialty shops and book stores. I included a few of the LEGO posters here, and you can see the whole collection at Silly Brick Pics eBay store.
If you are looking for some great LEGO wall-art these can be an excellent solution, and they can also work great as unique gift-items for the LEGO fan in your life who already has everything. So how about you? Do you use LEGO posters and other wall-art for decorating? Do you have a favorite LEGO poster? And how do you like the LEGO art-prints we talked about here? Feel free to share in the comment section below! 😉

I want one.
The ebay link is not working. I search and found their site. http://sillybrickpics.com They have some great photography.
I have a few of my prints of my work hanging in my office.
I’m a big fan Chris mcveigh’s aka powerpig’s work.
Thanks for reporting that. I fixed the links. It was a bit confusing as their current store name in their logo didn’t match their username or their official store name. Anyway, I think I got it right this time. 🙄
Is the article I helped you with coming soon? I thought this had something to do with that, but I guess not.
Brad, yes, I have it on the schedule. I have been out of town quite a bit so didn’t have time to put together articles that requires more research and thinking. Actually just got back home tonight, so yes, I will be publishing your shortly. 😉
I hope you rearranged the information I gave you, because I didn’t write that long paragraph with a direct article in mind. I got a bit worried that you’d just use my text when you said I’d written an article, since that wasn’t what I was trying to do.
Brad, I know. Don’t worry, I will wave your information waved into an actual article. I’m careful that what I publish is as top quality as I can possibly do. 🙂
Look cool. It’s great photography. Too bad I can’t seem do that with my project. 🙁
Off-topic, but on Friday my brothers went to our local toy store and found a box of CMF Series 12! I know this has been happening in other places, but they were only $3.50 here! So today we went there and I bought the Hun Warrior. Also, one brother got the Swashbuckler, another got the Space Miner, although he wanted the Piggy guy, and the last got nothing: he had no money. So I’m pretty excited, since this is my first CMF ever. 😀
Nice find! I’m glad you guys had a chance to experience the fun of the Collectible Minifigs! Enjoy your loot! 😛
Really? the minifigures are out? A few days ago I went to toys-R-us, you know, there usually early for things. and I asked costumer service if they had series twelve and I was one week early from the day they would come out. 🙁 disappointing day, oh well, at least I got a Carmel apple to cheer me up! 😉
Well, according to multiple posts on the Brickset Forum, many people have found them at Walgreens, Tesco, and a few other places. But the official LEGO release is October 1st. 😉
I just checked at Walgreens. They indeed had them, but the price was $4.39! 😯
…Sets on the shelves early …extremely high price… why am I not surprised? $4.39 is pretty steep though. 😕
Also, I was unable to go get more CMFs today. I’m hesitant to buy due to budget issues, but it’s certainly cheaper than what it will be in December.
😯 Oookay, looking at that price I think I can wait a few more days. 😀
Oh man I want these! As soon as they start offering iPhone 6 covers, I’m there! It’s fairly early in the iPhone 6 game, and I hadn’t seen any cases that I liked but I absolutely must have one of these. My iPhone 6 is coming in mid-October, hopefully they’ll have something up by then. =D And of course I would love to get some of their prints as well.
Kim, hm… I’m going to forward your idea. See what comes out of it… 🙂
Hi Kim… I’m Rob, the owner and photographer at SillyBrickPics.
Thanks very much for your interest in my work! I have to say, I’m quite jealous that you’ve already secured your iPhone 6. I’m still trying to come up with a good argument to convince my wife that an upgrade to my 5S is absolutely necessary! 🙂
I would love to offer cases for this new model and hope to be doing so soon. The lab that I use for cell phone case production has not yet started offering these for manufacture. I would have to suspect, however, that they will before too long. I’ll definitely announce it on my homepage when that happens!
All the Best,
Rob

Thanks Kim… it’s my pleasure!
