If you are a Marvel Comics fan and haven’t seen the new Ant-Man movie that was released a few weeks ago (and is still playing in many theatres), I recommend you do so. It is the twelfth in the series of Marvel Cinematic Universe films, and is excellently done. 🙂
Toscano Bricks is well known for their awesome LEGO stop-motion films, and especially their recreation of original film-trailers in LEGO. (We have featured one of their previous trailers here: Avengers: Age of Ultron Trailer in LEGO). This time they have remade the official Ant-Man trailer as a LEGO brickfilm. You can watch it below. The second video is a side-by-side comparison of the LEGO Ant-Man trailer and the original trailer.
When a LEGO brickfilm is so smooth it is actually harder to appreciate how much works goes into it. For example notice the different scale minifigs in the same shots. That requires some serious stop-motion skills. And if you are looking for the minifigs from the trailer, they are from the #76039 LEGO Ant-Man Final Battle set. It is a small set that only costs $20 but comes with three amazing minifigures and some other neat accessories. It is available under the LEGO Marvel section of the Online LEGO Shop.
So what do you think? Have you seen the Ant-Man movie yet? And what do you think of the LEGO version of the trailer? Do you have the LEGO Ant-Man set? How do you like it? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below! 😉
