The third episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is here! As you may remember from our previous discussions (see links at the end of this post), LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is a new Disney XD animated show with five 22-minute episodes that re-tell the Star Wars saga in chronological order from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace up through Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. The story is through the eyes of C-3PO and R2-D2, with the characteristic playful humor that we expect from LEGO Star Wars films. You can watch the full first episode here: LEGO Star Wars Droid Tales – Episode 1, the second episode here: LEGO Star Wars Droid Tales – Episode 2, and the third episode is below. 🙂
The third episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is titled “Mission to Mos Eisley”. It starts out like this: “C-3PO is on the trail of R2-D2, who was last seen being taken to Tatooine by a mysterious captor.” While the search is going on, C-3PO has the chance to continue telling the story of Star Wars Episode 4: The New Hope to anyone who listens….
This has been my favorite episode so far because it brings back fond memories of watching the very first Star Wars film! There is no word yet when the next episode will air, but we will post it here when it becomes available. In the meantime you can also check out the currently available LEGO Star Wars sets at the Online LEGO Shop.
So what do you think? How did you like the third episode of LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales? And what do you think of the new adventures of C-3PO and R2-D2? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

Flight of the Falcon airs October 5th. 🙂
Oh, awesome! Thanks for mentioning that! 😀
Werg, I can’t watch it! It says the video is unavailable because the user has been terminated. 🙁 I really should have watched this when I saw it under suggestions a few days ago. I wouldn’t have a problem with this, except I don’t have Disney XD (to save myself from the rubbish), and of course it only airs on that channel. 😡
Also, there are a number of rumors spreading regarding 2016 sets. For instance, there’s a list on Brickset of a number of sets, as well as a half-confimed theory of a Ghostbusters’ HQ that has 4,600pcs and is $350. The set number is 75827, as found on LEGO.com. Still, slightly hard to believe.
Oh, that’s too bad. I will try to replace it as soon as I can. I’m also having trouble believing that one of the largest LEGO sets ever would be a firehouse. Neither the price, not the piece-count makes sense. But LEGO have done weird things before, so we shall see…
Someone on the Brickset forum said that the 4600 was made up of 2600 parts and 2000 pre-cracked cheese slopes. 😉
I note that 4600 pieces at $350 is about 7 cents/pc, which is higher than modulars, but that would be due to the license. That’s believable. Still, to test for accuracy, just how many pieces are those MOCs of the Ghostbusters’ Firehouse? If they are less than 4,600, then we know it’s not real, because when has LEGO ever made a set bigger than a MOC of the same object?
That’s a good point about the piece-count. Keep in mind that the set could be including other things than just the firehouse. The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and maybe even another version of the Ecto-1 are not out of the question.
Okay, I replaced the video. It is a bit weird in the sense that the screen is kind of small, but if you watch it in full screen it looks fine. 🙂
Unfortunately, it looks like the video’s down again. Here’s one which is working, though it might be a bit of a cat-and-mouse game to find one which isn’t eventually pulled down.
Thank you, Shea. I updated it. Yeah, it is a cat and mouse game for sure! It is best to watch these videos as soon as I post them because we never know how long they will be on. 🙁
