LEGO Mixels Series 6 available now!

With all the new LEGO sets and promotions at the beginning of the month, I forgot to mention that the LEGO Mixels Series 6 sets are out. LEGO Mixels are weird little brick-built characters that are fun to put together and play with. Even more importantly, they come with an excellent section of very useful parts, and are also great for learningย new building techniques. ๐Ÿ™‚

LEGO Mixels

Just like in the previous series, we get three groups of LEGO Mixels, each with their own color scheme and personality. There is also a TV series for kids featuring the LEGO Mixels characters, although they only vaguely resemble the ones in the actual LEGO sets. Below is the description of the three tribes in the LEGO Mixels Series 6. Also, remember that the characters can all be mixed up to build larger figures. Mix characters are a mix between two figures from either the same or different tribes, Max characters are a mix between all three characters of the same tribe, and Murp characters are a combination of two, three or even four Mixels (these are the craziest). You can find building instructions for them at the LEGO Mixels website.

โžก LEGO MIXELS SERIES 6 WELDOS: The Weldos are big time into the construction business. They love to build tings but they cannot always control their tools and they often end up causing more damage than good. The three characters are as follows: #41545 LEGO Mixels Kramm, #41546 LEGO Mixels Forx, and #41547 LEGO Mixels Wuzzo. The yellow, gray and black color-scheme definitely make these guys look like they are in construction. My favorite is Kramm with his big mouth andย funny feet.

โžก LEGO MIXELS SERIES 6 GLORP CORP: The green, gooey Glorp Corp is a swamp-dwelling tribe of outrageous thrill-seekers. This is the second time we are getting members of this tribe. The first time was in LEGO Mixels Series 3 with Glomp, Glurt and Torts. The three new characters are as follows: #41548 LEGO Mixels Dribbal, #41549 LEGO Mixels Gurggle, and #41550 LEGO Mixels Slusho. Green and lime-green is a good color-scheme for weird little monsters, so getting more of this tribe is not such a bad thing.

โžก LEGO MIXELS SERIES 6 MUNCHOS: The Munchos are big-mouthed, big-eating Mixels with an unstoppable appetite. They are happy eaters who are happy to eat anything they can get their hands on. So just keep feeding them! The three characters are as follows: #41551 LEGO Mixels Snax, #41552 LEGO Mixels Berp, and #41553 LEGO Mixels Vaka-Waka (good luck to those who are not used to differentiating between V and W in pronouncing that!) I have to say that these guys are very-very weird. Interesting colors and parts though!

LEGO Mixels are starting to get a bit repetitious with so many new series coming out, but they are still pretty funny, and they are enjoyable builds. It looks like they continue being popular as LEGO is planning to release more next year. As long as the part selection remains interesting I think LEGO fans will appreciate them. All those unique eye pieces, tooth-plates, small ball-joints and nice colors make LEGO Mixels an excellent source of unique elements. And they are only $5 each. You can find all of them under the LEGO Mixels section of the Online LEGO Shop.

With six series of LEGO Mixels out, my favorite tribe still remains the fiery Infernites. What about you? Which one is your favorite LEGO Mixels tribe? Are you collecting them all, or just get the ones you like to have for parts? Feel free to share in the comment section below! ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Glorp Corp guy’s name is Dribbal, with two b’s, not Drippal. ๐Ÿ™‚
This series is rather interesting, much more so than Series 5. As usual, I can’t decide which one I want to get. For me, it’s between Dribbal, Wuzzo, and Berp, but I just don’t know who I like best. Maybe Snax. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Also, on the topic of Mixels, we have pics for both Series 7 & 8 (no names for 8 though). And my brothers and I have found a new Mixel joint! It’s like this piece: http://brickset.com/parts/6043639 but in Dark Stone Grey and with a ball instead of a cup on the end. It comes in at least 6 2016 sets: 2 Mixels in Series 7, 3 in Series 8, and a Ninjago mini-set. ๐Ÿ˜€

LOL! He kinda looked drippy, so probably that’s why I renamed him. ๐Ÿ˜€

I was looking at the pictures of Series 7 and 8 also yesterday. Interesting characters. Good notice about the ball-joint! Also I like those new big tooth plates! ๐Ÿ˜†

Yes, I like those plates too. They come in 5 various Mixels from Series 7 & 8. Good for making teeth that aren’t sharp. ๐Ÿ˜€
Unfortunately, the images have been deleted from Brickset at the request of LEGO. I know many people already downloaded them, but I haven’t, so I can’t research the new sets more. ๐Ÿ™ But I have found and documented 15 new 2016 pieces, not counting the Nexo Knights’ accessories.

For some reason, all of the ‘Muncho’ Mixels remind me of bathroom furniture.

LOL! I don’t know if they are going to be happy about that. ๐Ÿ™„

Wow, the past few days have been crazy. First we get a bunch of LEGO 2016 images, then they get posted everywhere expanding the Brick Set database, and then poof they are all gone! Some of them looked awesome too! Oh, actually the last statement isn’t true I still have them thebricklot.com/2015/10/13/lego-2016-official-images/ , I downloaded almost all of them before hand so I could post them after LEGO asked (because it’s not tell, because these have no water markings) everyone to take them down. ๐Ÿ‘ฟ ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ™„

Yeah, tell me about it! I was thinking of writing an article about the new sets, but then I thought, maybe I should wait and see if LEGO is forcing sites to take them down. Sure enough they did… again… ๐Ÿ™„

Ya…I wasn’t planning on it, but so many people commented on Brick Set saying they hadn’t seen them yet, so…. I have been scouring the web for all the remains. (I explain why you can still see them even though they aren’t there, in my blog, but plus because unless they delete them from their gallery)

WAY off topic (if there is one ๐Ÿ™„ ) but how many views do you get a day Admin? Just seen how big the greats are.

Seems like LEGO is running out of ideas for the Mixels. Does LEGO make the new ones or are those still from Cartoon Network?

    • admin October 16, 2015, 12:54 PM

Not sure. I find the show mind-numbingly dumb, so I only watched a couple of episodes. There is a series of videos though that are with the actual sets, which are more interesting (at least to me). You can find both the Cartoon Network and LEGO versions on the official LEGO Mixels website.
