LEGO Super Heroes contest – great prizes!

It was just a few days ago when we talked about a couple of fun contests for LEGO fans with great prizes (see: LEGO Creator & LEGO Bionicle Contests), and today I wanted to show you another one. This contest is posted on ReBrick, which is LEGO’s own picture sharing social-media website. Below is the information about the constest. Pay attention to the prizes because they are very generous. 🙂

LEGO Super Heroes Contest

WHAT IS THIS CONTEST ABOUT: Have you ever wanted to build your own comic book cover, or build a LEGO cover of your favorite DC Comics cover featuring the adventures of Superman, Batman, or Wonder Woman? Now here’s your chance – build a comic book cover featuring one or all of these characters and you could win 2015 DC Comic San Diego Comic Con Exclusives!

WHAT YOU NEED TO DO: Build your favorite comic book cover featuring Superman, Batman, and/or Wonder Woman, or create one of your own! Add in some villains and other characters too, but make sure you include one of the three superheroes. Share your model on ReBrick following the instructions in the official rules!

2015 San Diego Comic-Con LEGO Superman

LEGO Super Heroes Contest Prize

WHAT YOU NEED TO REMEMBER: Make sure your entry features Superman, Batman, and/or Wonder Woman. Submit your entry before December 11th at 9:00 AM EST. Entries after this time will not be accepted. Your entry needs to be approved by the moderations before it will be visible to all members, so don’t panic if you submit it and can’t see it while logged in. The ReBrick team normally approve entries within one business day. You can read more details about the contest and the official rules here: The LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Super Covers Building Competition

As you can see, this is a fun contest, and the prizes are awesome! The San Diego Comic Con sets and minifigures are super rare, and the first prize winner gets some of those and also some not-yet-released 2016 sets. The runner up gets some nice prizes as well from the 2016 LEGO Super Heroes line. You can also check out the currently available LEGO DC Super Heroes sets at the Online LEGO Shop.

LEGO contests are a great way to sharpen your LEGO building skills, learn to focus on a project from start to finish, and fine-tune your abilities to showcase your creation in the best possible way. And of course there are also great prizes to win too! I highly recommend entering contests as it is a very rewarding experience. What do you think? Are you planning to enter? Feel free to share in the comment section below! 😉

I think I found some other character that appear official, what do you think Admin?

    • TheBrickLot November 4, 2015, 12:06 PM

I’m not sure if I will enter of not….depends on what the 2016 sets are.

Ah… you enter for the fun and the learning! The prizes are just icing on the cake! 😉

You mean for the Battle Figures?

      • TheBrickLot November 4, 2015, 3:52 PM

No.. uh I’m not sure if they are official but… these have some have lego marking, but other than that I just have to go by what the people said.

Yeah, we just have to wait on those. There is a lot of fake stuff on eBay and Alibaba and other places.

This sounds like fun. Thinking about doing the Dark Knight Returns or Batman: Year One, but those, though iconic, are pretty simple. Batman Zero Year-Dark City, (google these if you want to see what I’m talking about) would look nice in Lego, and it would be a good way to show off building techniques. Hopefully my brother will let me borrow his Batman minifigure 😀 .

I would also add that ReBrick is not well known, so winning is fairly easy because there is not a whole lot of competition. Just thought to mention that. 😉

Thanks a lot for saying that, it’s nice to know. I’m a big procrastinator so every bit of incentive helps 😛 .

Yeah, that’s one of the tricks to enter contests, if you want to win. Choose the ones where the prizes are great and competition little. It is kind of a dirty secret, so I didn’t mention it in the guide I wrote, but yeah, it works. 😈
