The LEGO Star Wars May the 4th exclusive offers are beginning today! These offers are valid until midnight EST on May 4th, or while supplies last. Below are the details. 🙂
➡ DOUBLE VIP POINTS ON LEGO STAR WARS SETS: You will earn Double VIP Points on all of your LEGO Star Wars purchases. This is a great time to pick up larger sets that you have been saving up for. And of course Double VIP Points is also valid on smaller sets, if that’s all what you prefer.
➡ FREE LEGO STAR WARS STORMTROOPER: You will get a free exclusive #30602 LEGO Star Wars First Order Stormtrooper minifigure polybag with LEGO Star Wars purchases of $50 or more.
➡ FREE LEGO STAR WARS THE FORCE AWAKENS POSTER: You will also receive a really nice LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens poster with all LEGO Star Wars purchases. It is a recreation of the official poster for the Star Wars: The Force Awakens movie with LEGO minifigures. The poster is 16×20 inches, and looks really nice. Unfortunately it comes folded if you place an order online, but if you unfold it quickly the creases should be easier to smooth out.
➡ LEGO STAR WARS ASSAULT ON HOTH: The #75098 LEGO Star Wars Assault on Hoth set is now available. We have discussed this set previously (see: LEGO Star Wars Assault on Hoth Discussion). It is basically a collection of previous Hoth-based sets, now under the Ultimate Collector Series banner. The set is quite controversial as it is more a play-set than a display piece as previous UCS sets, however if you don’t own any of the earlier sets it could be a good choice.
➡ LEGO STAR WARS SALE: A number of LEGO Star Wars sets are on sale during the promotion – see list below. It includes the regular price as well as the sale price for each item for the USA and Canada. The UK also have a list of sets on sale. There are also a number of smaller items like watches and key-chains, as well as items on sale in other categories. You can find them all under the Sales & Deal section at the following links:

- LEGO SHOP IN CANADA: Online LEGO Shop Canada

If you are a LEGO Star Wars fan, these few days are some of the best opportunities to pick up your favorite sets. We will also talk about the other specials in May tomorrow, but the focus in May is really on Star Wars, and the best offers are during this promotion. Later in the month only a couple of LEGO Star Wars sets will be eligible for Double VIP Points, and you won’t get the poster and the free minifig. If you would like to see all the sets available, visit the LEGO Star Wars section of the Online LEGO Shop.
So what do you think? How do you like the May the 4th specials this year? Are you going to take advantage of it? What are you planning to get? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

The minifig isn’t really exclusive, you can buy on bricklink for far less than the $50 or $75 to save on shipping. What is interesting too is the European Lego sites have different sales prices. For instance the Millenium Falcon set is discounted in Austria, but not in the U.S.
I would think Lego could do better, but I guess not.
Sean, that’s how LEGO worded the promotion, but yes, you should be able to get the minifigs by itself on resale sites. That’s really interesting about different regions having different sets on sale. Perhaps it has to do with what sells best/worst in each area.
It’s a minor redesign of a very similar minifig, apparently…

Slight but nice variation. I love small design changes like that as they are great for army building.
Its just sad that with all the creativity that Lego has, this is the best they can offer. I can think of a lot more exclusive minifies that they could offer and make this worthwhile. As it is now, its a complete charade.
I was looking forward to this May 4th, but this offer is so bad, Im going to sit it out.
You can get smaller sets for less and get more for your money.Than get one set that is so,so. I am going to wait for the summer sets.
The summer sets are amazing, so yeah, if there is nothing that catches your interest now, or you already go everything you wanted from the first quarter of the year, then it is better to wait a bit longer 🙂
In my opinion this is one of the weaker May the Fourth promos in recent years. The best offer is the poster, although some of the discounted sets are good. 😕 I will attempt to go to the LEGO store tomorrow, but my goal is only to redeem the current LEGO calendar coupon (+100 VIP points) via the purchase of a Stitch CMF, given I am able to feel him out.
BTW, admin, the last two sale prices on your list are incorrect, as you didn’t give a discount for 75141 & 75142.
Thanks for pointing that out. The list was actually sent to us directly by LEGO yesterday, so I guess they just missed those. There were a couple of other mistakes in the list as well that I did notice before posting it today. Stitch is also my favorite characters from this series! 😀
Meanwhile in Australia… Nothing but a figure

Aussies always get the short end of the stick. I feel so bad for LEGO fans there…
