Amazon is running a massive sale on LEGO Dimension Packs, so if you play the game and want to pick up some of the packs, or if you are just collecting the minifigures and accessories, this is an excellent time to get them. In addition, the second half of the LEGO Dimensions Wave 7 packs are now available. Below I will highlight some of the sales, and also talk a bit about the new packs that were recently released. 🙂
Amazon’s current sale is definitely one of the biggest we have seen, with as much as 72% off on some of the LEGO Dimensions Packs. This includes popular sets like the #71203 LEGO Dimensions Portal 2 Level Pack, and the #71202 LEGO Dimensions Simpsons Level Pack. Both are normally $29.99, and are now on sale for $8! The LEGO Dimensions Starter Packs are also discounted at around 50% off. Basically, you will find all the packs for half price or better. Here is a list of all the sets on sale: LEGO DIMENSION PACKS ON SALE AT AMAZON
The #71253 LEGO Dimensions Fantastic Beasts Story Pack is 42% off, which is another excellent deal. This pack has some really nice and rare parts, so you may consider it just for the special elements. See here: LEGO DIMENSIONS FANTASTIC BEAST STORY PACK ON SALE
LEGO Dimensions Bundle Packs are on sale as well, anywhere between 59-62% off the regular price. As the name suggest, these deals include several LEGO Dimensions Packs bundled together (usually three or more sets). Below are some examples (just click on the links to take you to the respective pages). Please note that prices on Amazon can fluctuate quite a bit, so prices might be different by the time you read this.
- LEGO Dimensions Adventure Time Bundle – 55% off regular price
- LEGO Dimensions DC Comics Bundle – 60% off regular price
- LEGO Dimensions Fantastic Beasts Bundle – 58% off regular price
- LEGO Dimensions Ghostbusters Bundle – 62% off regular price
Three of the latest LEGO Dimensions Wave 7 packs are also available. The #71264 LEGO Dimensions Batman Movie Story Pack includes Batgirl and Robin with the Bat-Computer, and a mini Batwing that can be rebuilt into the Black Thunder or the Bat-Tank. This set should be available at most retailers, and you can also get it on Amazon 20% off: LEGO DIMENSIONS BATMAN MOVIE STORY PACK ON SALE
The #71286 LEGO Dimensions Knight Rider Fun Pack includes Michael Knight, and the K.I.T.T. robotic vehicle that can be rebuilt into the K.I.T.T. Jet or the Goliath Armored Semi. This set is exclusive to GameShop, so you will need to get it directly from them (or from resellers).
The #71344 LEGO Dimensions LEGO Batman Movie Fun Pack includes Excalibur Batman, and the Bionic Steed that can be rebuilt into the Bat-Raptor or Ultrabat. This set is exclusive to Target, so check their store locations or website if you want to get it.
The LEGO Dimensions game is still going strong, and the sets are also excellent for rare minifigures and unique pieces. Some of the licensed characters only appear in LEGO Dimension Packs, so it is worth checking them out, especially at the current prices. See here: LEGO DIMENSION PACKS ON SALE AT AMAZON
What do you think? Do you play the LEGO Dimensions game? How do you like it? Or do you just collect the packs for the minifigures and unique parts? Are you getting anything during the sale? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below! 😉

Wow. You aren’t up to date on LEGO Dimensions. All of these are available for between $150 and $7.99 on eBay. All of these packs were part of the .99 store clearance. The prices on Amazon right now are laughable high.
Kevin, I’m shopping for certain Dimensions packs as well, and I regularly check both eBay and Amazon. At least on the packs I checked, prices were either the same, or a little better on one site or the other. Prices of course fluctuate, but Amazon is pretty good at keeping up with competitors. I agree that either Amazon or eBay are a good place to look for the older packs, however in general Amazon is a safer place to shop for people who don’t know about the nuances of shopping on eBay, and a few cents this way or that way won’t make a difference. The .99 cents store clearance was awesome but it was a regional thing, not available to most people, nor were all the packs on sale. I’m still super jealous though. 😀
Wow!
I really want that portal 2 pack!
I don’t even have lego dimensions, by the way, but the set looks awesome, and portal 2 is on my steam wishlist.
Me too! Portal 2 one of my favorites. A couple of other ones I really like are the #71233 with the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, and the #71235 because of the cool minifig and awesome arcade game with printed tiles. 🙂
A minor thing but those packs aren’t actually Wave 8 but part of what LEGO has called Wave 7.5
Ben, I have seen them referred to both as Wave 7 and Wave 8, so I wasn’t sure which to go with. I have also seen some people calling them Wave 7.5, but I think that’s how fans call them, and is not the official name. I guess I could change it to the “second part of Wave 7”?
I changed it to “second part of Wave 7”. I think that should work. 🙂
The official name is Wave 7.5 (since Sept 2016) according to LEGO: https://mobile.twitter.com/LEGODimensions/status/777904295001726978
(I got caught out by this with my LEGO Dimensions iOS app “Vortech” but have just fixed it. Wave 8 is coming later in the year with The Goonies, LEGO City, and Harry Potter fun packs)
Ah, interesting! Thanks for the reference! Looks like from that Twitter thread that lots of folks are confused about the numbering! 😀
Yeah I got Portal, Scooby and Shaggy, and Krusty all for $.99 from a store in Houston. Seems like these are people re-selling those, as o know people from my LUG sometimes got 20-30 of each.
Yes, that is very likely. My friends in California are also getting them by the truckload for resale. Unfortunately none of the packs I want are on sale (well, except for Portal).
I already had Portal and didn’t especially care for the other ones, but it’s hard to beat 40-80 pieces for $1, that’s better than LUGBULK pricing.
That’s a very good point.
Lego stores and the online store also carry sets that are otherwise exclusive to a particular retailer. Though Dimensions sets can be hit and miss at brick and mortar Lego stores.
