I wonder why they are doing this when Nexo is on its last leg. The sets were good, but I never got used to that garish color scheme.

Might give this a shot. An ultimate mech for Nexo would be a great way to finish off the series.

Guys, did you hear about Lego doing Overwatch sets?

Yep, will talk about it soon. 😉

Wow! Biggest surprise ever! So looks like Lego no longer shuns shooting games? What is the world coming to?

      • Håkan May 22, 2018, 7:15 PM

People speculate about the decision being a combination of its cute style and the large fanbase.

I’m wondering if Lego is doing the same thing as they did to Legends of Chima not really letting the fans know “If” this is it for NEXO Knights and just stop making new sets. Let it run out on it’s own . Nobody knows if this is going to happen ( meaning the customer survive people ). You’d a think that they would know. It’s funny as much as Lego wants to keep things hush ,hush the fans seem to already know. Lol.

My impression is that Lego had let most of their themes end with a whimper, slowly fading to obscurity. It’s just business as usual.

  • Legostuff71 May 23, 2018, 9:47 PM

I guess, we have ( as fans ) shown lots of loyalty to the franchise. It would have been nice if Lego could have been upfront and /or honest with us. But, as you say ” business as usual”.

I know it is part of their standard boilerplate legal disclaimer but “Entries with military themes will not be eligible for the contest.”?

    Non-military knights doesn’t make sense.

    • Håkan May 24, 2018, 5:21 AM

From their business viewpoint, I guess knights are considered more of a historical or fantasy trope than a military one.

    • admin May 24, 2018, 10:30 AM

Good question! This is the response from the ReBrick team via the LEGO Ambassador Forum: “To further clarify a question we got about the rule against military themes: Space or sci-fi military themes are allowed in this contest, provided there’s no reference to modern military themes, colors, logos or organizations. Please keep your entries related to NEXO KNIGHTS. Good luck everyone!”

      • Håkan May 24, 2018, 11:43 AM

Yeah, battles are allowed if they are in some historical or romantic fantasy adventure setting.
