Brickcentral is currently running a fun contest for LEGO fans! Brickcentral is an online community that runs themed photography challenges, features creative photos, and shares shooting tips for LEGO photographers. Brickcentral is also part of the LEGO Ambassador Network as a Recognized LEGO Online Community. Below are the contest details.
Brickcentral is giving away a #10264 LEGO Creator Corner Garage set as the prize for their Scenes for the Corner Garage photo contest. The LEGO photography community is inviting LEGO photographers on Flickr, Instagram, and Twitter to submit a creative photo, depicting a scene that’s related to any of the floors of the #10264 LEGO Creator Corner Garage building; the 1950s style gas station and mechanic garage on the ground floor, the animal clinic on the second floor, or the apartment with rooftop access on the third floor. With all these different spaces there’s a lot of storytelling potential for LEGO photographers! (Hint: Brickcentral recently published a really good article on storytelling tips for LEGO photographers.)
Please note that scenes don’t have to be limited to things that might happen in the LEGO Creator Corner Garage building. Think outside the building! Tow trucks go out to service vehicles, and vets make house calls too! And, of course, you don’t have to own the set to be able to participate in the contest. It’s LEGO – use your imagination! (The contest page shows some great examples for possible contest entries.)
To enter the Scenes for the Corner Garage contest, take a photo of your creation and post it to your Instagram, Flickr, or Twitter account. There are some very specific instructions for posting and properly tagging your images, so make sure you read the rules at the Brickcentral contest page.
You can enter as many photos as you like until the contest ends on June 30, 2019 at 22:00 EST. After that, the Brickcentral mod team will be judging entries based on creativity, originality, and in accordance with the theme on the contest. The contest winner will be announced at the Brickcentral contest page by July 2, 2019, and will receive the #10264 LEGO Creator Corner Garage set as the prize! You can find more information about the contest at the Brickcentral contest page.
As mentioned above, you do not have to own the #10264 LEGO Creator Corner Garage to enter this contest, however, if you are not familiar with the set, it can be helpful to look at pictures. We reviewed the set here (LEGO Creator Corner Garage Review & Speed-Build), and you can also check it out at the LEGO Creator section of the Online LEGO Shop.
What do you think? How do you like this LEGO contest? Do you have the LEGO Creator Corner Garage? How do you like it? And do you have some ideas already of what you would build for the contest? Feel free to share and discuss in the comment section below!

I haven’t really tried Lego photography as I don’t have a good camera. But I appreciate opportunities like this. Good luck to those who enter.

Give it a shot!
Cool! I may participate. The issue for me is light. If I can get good lighting I will give this a shot.
Thanks for letting us know. It looks like a cool contest, and the prize is awesome. I might do this as a project with my son. 😀
So to be clear, my photo doesn’t have to be inside the Corner Garage, but I can build something that looks similar and take a photo of it?
Contest host here: It doesn’t even have to be in a building at all!
Check the contest page for inspiration 😉
Thanks, I see now! Those are some great photos. I don’t know if I can do anything that great.
Thanks but they’re photos from the mods who are seasoned LEGO photographers. They’re not contestants 😉
Hey, off topic, but did you guys see that the space station won the ideas revote? I’m very happy to see that. And thanks for letting us know about the contest.
Wouldn’t it be funny if somebody makes a scene from the ” nos4a2 ” book ( written by Joe Hill)and have the wraith ( name of the car in the story ). Being worked on in a garage. Too creepy?💀 yes, I am reading the book. Lol! Or maybe a christmasland land scene?🤤
Personally, I love creepy. I just shot some dark and creepy Stranger Things photos.
I can think of some fun photos, but I won’t know until the weekend if I will have time to do it. Can you enter more than one picture?
Yes! You can enter as many times as you want. Check the contest rules page for this info and more 😉
Verrry tempting. I see what I can do. 😀
