Custom LEGO Pandemic Kit by EclipseGRAFX

We recently talked about some of the new custom LEGO accessories by EclipseGRAFX, including their new Pandemic Kit. The kit includes several custom printed LEGO elements to help your minifigs prepare for the worst. EclipseGRAFX is donating 20% of the Pandemic Pack sales to the World Health Organization. Please note that Pandemic Pack is selling very quickly so it’s in and out of stock, but you can still purchase the items separately (photos from AFOLs of Facebook Group).

The Pandemic Pack includes a Face Time 2×4 printed tile, printed hand sanitizer (1×1 brick), alcohol (1×1 brick), Clorox (1×1 round brick) and instant noodle (1×1 round brick), a pack of 4 rolls of toilet paper (printed 1x2x2 brick), a first aid kit (1×2 tile), custom printed minifig heads with facemask (1 male, 1 female), printed minifig torso with ZOOM University hoodie, and an EclipseGRAFX sticker. Everything is neatly packed in a tin container.

As I mentioned above, the Pandemic Kit is selling very fast and has been going in and out of stock in the past couple of weeks. However, even if you can’t find the full kit, at the time of this writing, you can still get the individual items under the New Releases section at EclipseBricks.com. And there are also some other great items you might consider to get to help your minifigs get ready for the apocalypse; individual toilet paper rolls (printed 1×1 round brick), printed tiles with various hazard and warning signs, alcohol bottles, custom printed zombie and infected minifig heads and torsos, etc. Again, the easiest way to find them is to look at the New Release section at EclipseBricks.com.

The whole world is going through rough times right now, so adding a bit of humor into your LEGO creations to reflect reality can be a good way to release some of the tension. Stay happy and healthy, and feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below!

So epic! I also like their graffiti wall pieces.

The movie posters are cool too. Unfortunately, it seems like the pandemic kits are sold out again? I know the items are available individually, but I would love to get the tin box.

The heads with masks are awesome. By the way, they come in different colors, not just yellow. So if you’re into fleshies, they have those too. Just thought to share in case it helps someone.

The Dungeons and Dragons book cover is also custom printed by Eclipse?

    • Håkan April 13, 2020, 3:00 PM

Ah yeah, but alas, it seems to be sould out as for now. Maybe it’s available through a reseller.

Myself, I bought a few custom items from British Firestar Toys, recently. Not that I think British customizers are inherently better than American, but at least before Brexit is finalized, shipping to Sweden is a lot cheaper and easier.

(The British customization scene seems to be the largest in Europe, although I’d assume there’d also be customizers active in larger Western European countries, such as Germany and France…)

Firestar Toys actually carries the products of customizers form all over the world. Including customizers from the U.S. And yes, for you it would be cheaper and faster to just order from them.

It’s interesting that you mention that the British customization scene seems to be the largest. I keep track of customizers and from what I have seen, they are either from the U.S. the U.K., or various countries in Asia. I do know of some German customizers who chrome parts, but other than that, I can’t think of anyone else. I wonder why this is… hm… 😕

That may be because french and german speaking websites don’t show up on search results here. Unless they set up shop to target Americans and regions outside of their own countries, we may never hear of them. This is just my speculation, but it’s certainly an interesting question.

French and German enterprises don’t really tend to advertise to local audiences only, I believe. They would generally have an English language site, as well, to reach foreign audiences.

Wow! That is so cool. I love the build hard movie poster. I like that the toilet paper is cheaper on this site. Lol!

Profiting at the cost of a tragedy. Shameful at best.

I beg to disagree. Yes, these are hard times, and we’re all dealing with very stressful stuff. Lost jobs, mounting bills, parents and kids stuck at home, worrying about sick friends and relatives, not being able to find basic supplies in stores, etc..

We all need some relief at times. For some people, it’s gaming, or gardening, or reading. For others it’s Lego. Playing out scary times and dark events with toys has been documented to relieve stress in children. It gives them a way to express themselves and articulate their feelings. This is no different. I appreciate that they are doing this.

Besides, Eclipse is another struggling small business. All the shows they normally go to have been canceled. This is a time to help each other out not calling each other names. Their products are popular. Let people destress how they want.

I can see both sides. I personally think it’s a lighthearted take on what’s happening, but I could see that people who have to deal with this daily in their jobs (nurses, cashiers, paramedics, small business owners, etc.) might feel offended. I don’t feel they meant to harm. Like it’s said in the article, they are donating some of the profits.

  • Mike April 13, 2020, 4:03 PM

I work in a grocery store and honestly, find this pretty tasteless. >.>
Glad they’re donating part of the profits to WHO, at least.

    • Oldtimer April 13, 2020, 4:28 PM

I’m hesitant to say this, because I’m sure you already heard it a thousand times, but thank you for what you do. Our community donated masks for all the local grocery stores, so all the cashiers and other staff have something for protection. Please stay safe.

  • DavidH April 13, 2020, 4:22 PM

I would like to get some of these myself, just so that one day I can use lego to show and tell my grandchildren what happened in 2020. We live in historic times. Stay safe everyone, including your minifigs.

  • kingcobra April 13, 2020, 4:49 PM

Lego should bring back the nurse minifig and the hazmat suit guys. They are so hard to find, and so expensive! This would be the perfect time to use them.

    • Håkan April 16, 2020, 12:18 PM

Hasn’t it been quite many different nurses and medical personnel produced during the last decades, anyway?

  • Legostuff14 April 13, 2020, 6:06 PM

Hey Grim, I understand where you coming from. ( where we are all coming from). It’s interesting that we set up battles with our green army men back in the day and or would use Lego Minifigures instead and play out battle scenes and it represents War. War is a horrific situation and yet kids/ young adults act it out. Weather in space ,medieval and nowadays it’s still war . But, because some of hasn’t lived first hand . We feel that it’s ok . Sometimes acting something out lets say with mini figures is a way of coping with the situation that’s happening now. It’s also a form of being in control of a situation that some people can’t wrap there heads around. What would I do in the situation or how can I fix the situation if I was in charge. This is a sad situation and sometimes have to have a sense of humor to help us in dealing with reality. Because , with some people that’s how they deal with difficult situations. Hang in there people and be safe.
