Just ordered the 123 sesame street set( childhood memory that’s deep in my heart). Can’t wait to build it😃. So, here’s my dilemma, the MOs Eisley Cantina is still out of stock and my problem is do I wait till it come in stock to order it or start looking at something else for my Christmas shopping. Because if I wait too long the other stuff( I like to call plan B )might not be there. So how long do you think I should wait and just forget about the MOs Eisley Cantina set and go for my Plan B? I’m thinking I’ll give it a week this November. Any thoughts?
That’s a tough one. Stock is still low in North America because of the factory closure in Mexico. I don’t see this situation getting any better before Christmas. The large sets do come back in stock from time to time, but only for very brief periods. Unless you’re willing to check every day, and luck out, I wouldn’t count on it. Personally, I would just go with Plan B for now, and keep the Cantina purchase until next year. But that’s just my opinion. 🙂
I got sesame street too! 😀
The Batwing looks incredible. Sleek, sophisticated, and very black.
Although Sesame Street is not perfect, I like the minifigs, the exclusive pieces, and the colors. I suspect they may add a second set later based on those technic bricks with holes. Or maybe that’s just a design?
Yeah, that might be some ulterior motive for the license. Fans have complained about the lack of characters such as Grover and Count Van Count…
The Christmas set looks good. I hope the threshold is not too high to get it.
Sesame Street and the Winter Village set for me. Other than that, I’m waiting for the new Modular. I’m curious if they are going to use the new road plate system or use a regular baseplate.
Thanks, Thita (admin) for the advice. I’ll give it a week and if it’s still not available I’ll go to plan B. I also consider the fact that i already know what I’m getting for Christmas that’s already here and it’s in hiding ( Diagon Alley set) but, can’t build until Christmas. So, you win some and sometimes you lose some. I feel I have already won. Lol!🤔. With any Lego set you can’t go wrong.
Yes, that’s very true. Even a bad LEGO set can be used for parts. I think you will like Diagon Alley. It’s a great set. 🙂
This is something I mentioned a few days ago, Lego can fix ” the not enough sesame street characters” by having them in a mini figure blind bag series. It would make sense, because Lego was just asking us what themes on minifigures they should make for the next series during the next year or so.
Yeah, another suggestion I’ve seen. Also it’s been suggested it could include some non-US-characters from international co-productions.
Possibly it’s of limited appeal outside the USA, though.
Hm… that’s interesting. I wonder which characters that would be.
It’s very likely this is what’s going to happen. They did the same with The Simpsons; two sets, plus collectible minifigs.
Is there any news on the 2021 sets yet? Like what is the next modular? Star Wars sets, Super Heroes, Ninjago, etc.?
Some of them are on instagram. Look for legoleaks2011. The Ninjago, City, and some of the Super Heroes sets already leaked.
Hmm, I’m curious about the “Spider-Man hideout”, although from what I remember in the comics, his hideout generally was some small, shabby New York apartment… Just like many of the creators probably lived in during the 70’s and 80’s…
The next Modular is not yet known. Some of the other sets started circulating. Usually just set names and numbers, and sometimes pictures. I haven’t seen anything particularly outstanding yet.
