As you may remember, BrickLink.com, the online LEGO marketplace was purchased by LEGO back in 2019. Since, then they have been making some updates and changes to the site, and also working on new developments. Currently, they are running a survey to get your feedback, and to sweeten the deal for taking up 15 minutes of your time, they are also offering survey participants a chance to win 1 of 10 Antique Fire Engine sets from the AFOL Designer Program. Below are the details.
Dear BrickLink member,
As BrickLink expands its Community Engagement efforts, we’re taking a fresh look into you as a BrickLink member. It is important to us that the voices of BrickLink members are at the center of what we base our decisions on when operating the site, building new features, driving new initiatives, etc.
This survey asks some demographic questions about how you use BrickLink, your LEGO hobby, and your opinions on various aspects of BrickLink. It should take you about 15 minutes to complete.
Complete the survey for a chance to win 1 of 10 Antique Fire Engine sets from the AFOL Designer Program!

BRICKLINK COMMUNITY SURVEY
Thank you,
The BrickLink Team
I filled out the survey a couple of days ago, and it was actually pretty interesting with thoughtful questions about how individuals might participate in the LEGO hobby and use the BrickLink marketplace and other BrickLink features. The survey did take 15 minutes for me, so if you want to participate, fill it out when it’s most convenient with your schedule. And if you have any comments or questions about the survey, you are welcome to share below.

Thanks for letting us know. Already filled out. Good survey.
Is that fire truck a real lego set? I don’t remember ever seeing it before.
Well, it’s listed in the Brickset catalog as a set, along with the other ones. They may not be standard official sets, but they were endorsed and distributed by Lego: https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Bricklink
Oh. wow. I didn’t know they were in the Brickset database. Cool to have that reference. I didn’t order any of them when they were available, but it’s cool that Lego is going to do it again. As far as the survey, I will do it tonight when I get home from work.
Well, it’s slightly different in that the original sets were designed directly for the designer program, while these sets are taken from a pool of rejected Ideas sets.
It’s from the Bricklink AFOL Designer Program. It had a very limited release where you deliberately and actively had too look it up and order it. It wasn’t a set you’d be likely to just stumble across while perusing general Internet sites, or something sold through Lego’s usual channels…
I rarely give a rat’s tail about these competitions, where the chances to win would be miniscule, anyway, but I might possibly fill in the survey for a better experience on the site in the future…
I just hope they don’t change bricklink too much. All I care for is that it’s the best marketplace for buying and selling lego, and that it has the best database. I don’t care for the other gimmicks they are doing.
Same here. Keep the site functional and don’t try to make it into a social media site.
I remember seeing that firetruck before, but I had no idea how big it is. It’s huge! The survey was interesting. Thank you.
