LEGO Harry Potter 2022 Summer Sets Coming!

Seven new LEGO Harry Potter sets were added to the online LEGO shop that will be released this summer. Let’s take a look!

The #76400 LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Carriage and Thestral is from the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix film. It features Harry Potter and Luna Lovegood as they discover an adult and baby Threstal in the Forbidden Forest. There’s apple and meat to feed the mystical, winged creatures before taking a Thestral-drawn carriage ride to the next enchanting escapade. The set comes with 121 pieces. Prices are as follows: £17.99, $19.99, €19.99. It will be available in June at the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #76401 LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts Courtyard: Sirius’ Rescue is based on the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban film. It features Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Sirius Black, and Buckbeak the Hippogriff. Buckbeak has movable wings and room on his back for a minifigure passenger. A prison cell high in the Hogwarts tower is the scene for a daring rescue, and the building can connect with other sets in the series to expand the Hogwarts Castle layout. The set comes with 345 pieces. Prices are as follows: £44.99, $49.99, €49.99. It will be available in June at the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #76402 LEGO Harry Potter Hogwarts: Dumbledore’s Office features several areas, each filled with authentic details from the popular movie series. The set includes six minifigures: Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore, Severus Snape, Argus Filch, and Madam Pince. Familiar items include Harry’s Invisibility Cloak, the Pensieve memory keeper, the legendary Sword of Gryffindor, the celebrated Sorting Hat, and baby Fawkes rising from the ashes. The set comes with 654 pieces and can also connect with others in the series to expand the Hogwarts Castle layout. Prices are as follows: £69.99, $79.99, €79.99. It will be available in June at the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The LEGO Harry Potter #76403 Ministry of Magic set includes Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley, who – with a turn of the head and a new hairpiece – magically transform into Albert Runcorn, Mafalda Hopkirk, and Reg Cattermole. Behind the facade are several detailed interiors to explore: Dolores Umbridge’s office, Arthur Weasley’s office, the Hall of Prophecy, and the Court Room. Characters must find the Slytherin locket and escape without being caught by Yaxley, Pius, and the Dementor. Also take a look at that awesome little red phone booth! The set comes with 990 pieces. Prices are as follows: £89.99, $99.99, €99.99. It will be available in June at the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #76406 LEGO Harry Potter Hungarian Horntail brick-built display model recreates the black scales, spiked tail, and fiery breath of the Hungarian Horntail dragon. The iconic creature is not only rewarding to build and impressive to display, but it also features flapping wings with a 15-inch (40 cm) wingspan that operates via a handle at the rear. The only minifigure included is Harry Potter astride his broomstick. The set comes with 671 pieces. Prices are as follows: £44.99, $49.99, €49.99. It will be available in June at the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #76407 LEGO Harry Potter Shrieking Shack and Whomping Willow set features two iconic locations in 1 set to recreate several scenes from the Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban film. The six included minifigures are Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Sirius Black, Peter Pettigrew, and Remus Lupin. A couple of interesting play-features are that the Whomping Willow can spin around and its branches bend to strike minifigures and pick them up and that Professor Lupin can transform into a werewolf as the glow-in-the-dark moon appears from behind the clouds. The set comes with 777 pieces. Prices are as follows: £79.99, $89.99, €89.99. It will be available in June at the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The #76408 LEGO Harry Potter 12 Grimmauld Place stands over 11 in. (28 cm) high and is bursting with authentic details and fascinating features. There’s a real ‘Wow!’ moment when a normal-looking townhouse magically transforms to reveal the headquarters of the Order of the Phoenix. The included minifigures are Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Sirius Black, Nymphadora Tonks, Kreacher, Molly Weasley, Fred Weasley, George Weasley, and Kingsley Shacklebolt. There are many magical locations to discover within, including Sirius Black’s room, the Black family tree tapestry, and the piano where Ron and Hermione practice playing. I suspect that this set is also going to be popular with fans of the LEGO Modular Building series as well as LEGO City builders! It comes with 1083 pieces. Prices are as follows: £114.99, $119.99, €119.99. The set will be available in June at the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.

“Just when I thought I was out, Lego pulls me back in”. Lol! Great sets and I’ll start my saving now.😀.

Haha! Yeah, I was thinking of that too! 😀

Yes, I think so. The two brick colored sides slide apart to reveal the gray middle part. And it looks like it can slide forward too.

Not a big potterhead, so I’m mostly interested in the heads and the regular animals.

Interesting that Nymphadora Tonks has violet hair in one picture, and red hair in another, but maybe it’s just a mistake in rendering.

Same here. Mostly interested in the unique parts and minifigs. But I have to admit, they are offering some really great hp sets in the past couple of years!

Yeah, I have some plans on concentrating on a Marvel NYC build for the meantime (although I might lack the time and space even for that), so I’ll try to focus on certain parts as well as a diverse set of civilian bystanders.

(Marvel NYC seems to be somewhat “Arm aber sexy” as Germans say, with somewhat trashy, glammy street culture. At least it’s fun to interpret it that way.)

So the middle of that building slides out? How does that work?
