August is a big month for new LEGO releases, so let’s dive in and see what’s new!
NEW LEGO ARCHITECTURE SET: The #21058 LEGO Architecture Pyramid of Giza is a beautifully detailed cross-section model of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World (you can also combine two models to build a full pyramid). The model features the main tunnels and chambers and the system that may have been used to move huge stones during construction. The set also includes a view of the river Nile and how it might have looked in ancient times with two small pyramids, two mortuary temples, Sphinx statues, an obelisk, and more. Price: $129.99. Available now at the LEGO Architecture section of the Online LEGO Shop.
NEW LEGO ART SETS: Two new LEGO Art mosaics are available this month. The #31206 LEGO Art Rolling Stones kit features one of the most distinctive band logos ever to celebrate the band’s 60th anniversary. As you begin assembling the 3D logo, you can scan the QR code and listen to the soundtrack, with almost an hour of content tailor-made to immerse you in the project. Finish the art with a Rolling Stones signature tile, and it’s ready to display on your wall at home or in the office. This set comes with 1,998 pieces and retails for $149.99. The #31207 LEGO Art Floral Art kit features one picture, 3 choices, and many artistic possibilities. Choose the flowers and color variants, then design, create and show them off. Finish the art with a brick-built frame in white, then display it on a wall or shelf. The set comes with 2,870 pieces and retails for $79.99.It might be a good idea to purchase multiples of this set for a larger wall display. 👍😀, need I say more.
Hmm, I might consider 76218 Marvel Sanctum Sanctorum for 2x VIP points, and possibly 10497 Icons Galaxy Explorer… But I guess I should consider personal time, space and funds – even regardless of the upcoming price increases – for the future. Decisions…
I normally look forward to new trains, but I don’t like these ones. Too childish. I wish they would make another advanced train!
There is a detailed Hogwarts Express coming later this year, so I heard.
The Harry Potter calendar looks great this year, as well, if you’re into the franchise. Myself, I’m considering buying the Guardians of the Galaxy calendar., although it looks less interesting than last year’s Marvel calendar..
That monkey kid cloud temple set looks so nice but if I was going to spend that much I’d go for the galaxy explorer or a technic .
