Lovely LEGO Flowers & More for Valentine’s Day!

With Valentine’s Day coming up tomorrow, I browsed the Online LEGO Shop to see which sets would make great gifts and/or would be fun to build together. There is quite a great selection this year!

All the sets in the LEGO Botanical Collection make perfect gifts and building projects for Valentine’s Day! The two latest additions are the #10313 LEGO Icons Flower Bouquet with 939 pieces for the price of $59.99, inspired by cornflowers, lavender, Welsh poppies, cow parsley, leather leaf ferns, gerbera daisies, larkspur, and lupines. And the #10314 LEGO Icons Dried Flower Centerpiece with 812 pieces for the price of $49.99 features a selection of tonal blooms with a gerbera and a rose for focal points. They are both available at the LEGO botanical sets section of the Online LEGO Shop.

The previously released #10280 LEGO Icons Flower Bouquet with 756 pieces for the price of $59.99 is another beautiful set inspired by real flowers such as roses, snapdragons, poppies, asters, daisies, and grasses. It’s still available at the LEGO botanical sets section of the Online LEGO Shop. You can even mix the two bouquets to make a larger arrangement.

Three smaller flower arrangements are also available; the #40646 LEGO Yellow & White Daffodils, the #40460 LEGO Red Roses, and the #40524 LEGO Sunflowers. They can be displayed individually, or mixed together, or added to the larger bouquets. All three sets are $12.99 each and are available at the seasonal items section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Below are a couple of video-reviews about these lovely botanical sets by JANGBRiCKS.

A really cute smaller set is the #40638 LEGO Heart Ornament. It includes 254 pieces, a hanger element for display, and plenty of extra accessories for complete customization. The price is only $12.99 and the set is available at the seasonal items section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Another cute set is the #40522 LEGO Valentine Lovebirds. The perfect display kit for partners to share, the birds rest on a branch decorated with pink hearts and flowers alongside a big red heart to make it even more obvious how much the two are in love. This set is also $12.99 and is available at the seasonal items section of the Online LEGO Shop.

I don’t remember ever seeing so many lovely sets appropriate for Valentine’s Day at the same time. I built several of the LEGO Botanical sets and it was always a delightful experience with lots of surprising pieces, techniques, and colors. You can even build vases for them, or use any vase you already have. And I like small interactive sets like the heart and the birds that allows partner-building and never-ending customization.
