When the #75978 LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley set was released, we all knew (well, at least hoped) that there is going to be a Gringotts Wizarding Bank coming at some point. And that time is now! Today, the LEGO Group announced the upcoming #76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank. Below are the details.
Today the LEGO Group in partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products unveils the #76417 LEGO Harry Potter Gringotts Wizarding Bank – Collectors’ Edition set, the latest addition to the LEGO Harry Potter product range.
The set follows the LEGO Group’s rich history of designing and bringing to life many of the most iconic Harry Potter locations. The 4,803-piece set features a highly detailed representation of the bank from the film series and includes the exterior, main banking hall, and the underground vault, complete with mine-cart rollercoaster.
Recreate the bank’s opulent foyer and mezzanine floor with a safe in the wall to store Hagrid’s secret letter. Construct a spiraling vault cart track with a mechanism that stops the cart at each of 3 underground vaults – including Bellatrix’s vault, which has a magical surprise inside! The set also includes a poseable Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon figure and a buildable model of the Magical Menagerie shop.
The Gringotts Bank section measures over 14.5 in. (36 cm) high, 12.5 in. (32 cm) wide and 10 in. (25 cm) deep. The 3 models combined measure over 29.5 in. (75 cm) high.
In addition, the set includes 13 minifigures, based on characters from the movie, including Harry Potter, Rubeus Hagrid, Dragomir Despard, Ron Weasley, Bellatrix Lestrange, Hermione Granger, Griphook, Bogrod, Ricbert, a Death Eater, two goblin bankers and two guards.
The set also includes the Ukranian Ironbelly Dragon which can be placed on top of the building to mirror the iconic scene from the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie.
The #76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank is fully compatible with the #75978 LEGO Harry Potter Diagon Alley released in 2020 and is still available at the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.
The #76417 Gringotts Wizarding Bank is going to be available for LEGO VIP members starting on September 1st, and for everyone else, on September 4th. Prices are as follows: $429.99/€429.99/£369.99. For more details, visit the LEGO Harry Potter section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Wow. Lego went all out on this one. I wasn’t expecting it to include the vault! I’m impressed!
I knew it was coming (well, I was fairly sure), but I thought it was going to be just the bank. So now we’re going to have to build a whole underground level to make this work. Lego knows what they are doing. Haha.
Thanks for including that picture with the other sets. It really puts it into perspective.
That’s dope. I wonder about the stability of it though. The bank seems to perchs on the cave so precariously.
The upside down house looked like that too, but it was surprisingly stable with a technic frame.
The building appears to be quite hollow, and the cross-support quite sturdy, so I guess it’s more stable than it looks. You should probably be a bit careful moving the baseplate up and down, though.
I know it was smaller, but I liked the architecture of the previous one better. It’s impressive, but I’m just not sure about this.
I don’t think the bank matches the style of the diagon alley sets. It doesn’t look quite right in the lineup. But by itself it looks decent. I like the mine thing going on.
Hmm, I have grown rather fatigued of the franchise, for various reasons, but this is a very cool set. I mean, I wouldn’t have the funds or space for it even if it was another franchise, but it is a cool set. I might possibly snag some of the heads or hairpieces separately.
A powerful Ukrainian Dragon also feels like a standpoint in this era, but it might possibly be a coincidence…
