The LEGO Ideas team posted a new building contest, inspired by the new #10326 LEGO Modular Natural History Museum set. Below are the details.
The Natural History Museum is ready to open! With an incredible astronomy exhibit and many ancient artifacts, what’s not to love? However, the museum is looking for more things to exhibit. So, if you could build the perfect exhibition to go into The Natural History Museum, what would that look like?
Your submission can be an item on its own, a display, a collection of items, artifacts, or displays as a larger exhibit, and it can be from the past, present, or future. No 3rd Party IP references will be allowed in this challenge. For example, we would allow LEGO Ninjago, LEGO Pirates, or LEGO DreamZzz, but would not allow Indiana Jones or NASA.
The challenge consists of 3 phases: Submission Phase – Create and submit your entry before March 7th, 2024 at 6:00 a.m. EST. Judging Phase – The LEGO Ideas judges review the entries and choose the winning entries by March 14th, 2024. Winners Announcement - The LEGO Ideas team will share the grand prize winner and two runner-up winners on LEGO Ideas no later than March 21st, 2024.
If you are the grand prize winner of this challenge, you’ll receive the following: #10326 LEGO Modular Natural History Museum, #10297 LEGO Modular Boutique Hotel, #10312 LEGO Modular Jazz Club, #40681 LEGO Vintage Hot Dog Truck. Two runner-up winners will receive the following: Two Runner Ups in this challenge will win the following: #10326 LEGO Modular Natural History Museum, #40681 LEGO Vintage Hot Dog Truck, #10329 LEGO Botanical Collection Tiny Plants.

Oh, I got an idea for this! Cool contest!
I’m curious what people are going to come up with for this. I have the set already and I wanted to add more exhibits but haven’t decided yet what I want.
I would love to see more dinos, but that would require a larger museum. The challenge is to build something small that fits into the current space.
I think there could be small interchangeable units that could be swapped out. Like real temporary exhibits
