LEGO Autumn Snails Gift-With-Purchase Set

Back in March, the LEGO Ideas team ran a contest for building a future Gift-With-Purchase set. (You can read more about the contest here.) This was a particularly exciting contest as it was so open-ended. The only restriction was that submissions should be between 150-250 elements and not be based on or reference old LEGO sets or any third-party intellectual property. Another great feature of this contest was that LEGO fans were also asked to help pick the winner. The contest is now over, and the winning entry has been announced. Take a look!

The contest’s grand-prize winner is The Autumn Snails by Jagamax with 806 fan votes. This cute set is going to be released as a future Gift-With-Purchase set. There were also two runner-up winners; Fries Kiosk by piso_brick89 with 755 fan votes, and Mountain Pass Transit by Nick.wood5 with 646 fan votes.

The currently available Gift-With-Purchase set is the#40687 LEGO Alien Space Diner, free with purchases of $100 or more until May 26th, or while supplies last. To take advantage of this offer, visit the Online LEGO Shop.

Free LEGO Alien Space Diner Promotion!

I voted for the micro train. Too bad it didn’t win. The snails are okay, but I don’t know what I would do with them.

The snails are sweet and I’m holding off ordering anything until they’re the GWP. I’m an elder AFOL and am no longer into space or the 3rd party proprietory themes. Love love the museum, jazz club etc. am saving up for when the botanical garden by @goanna89 is released.

I wish it was the micro train. I really like that design. But oh, well. It’s simple enough that I can just copy it.

I love the snake shells! I hope they will be printed.

Most likely. Lego would rarely use stickers for curved pieces.
