LEGO Build Together Sets Encourage Family Time!

There is a new LEGO collection coming next month called LEGO Build Together. The series focuses on imaginative play and family building activities for kids aged 9+ and their families. So far, two sets have been revealed in the series, the #41838 LEGO Travel Moments, and the #41839 LEGO Message Board.

The #41838 LEGO Travel Moments set comes with 1,231 pieces and features a brick-built world map as well as some small vehicles, tiles to mark locations, and clips to hold photos, tickets, and other memorabilia from each location.

The #41839 LEGO Message Board comes with 1,743 pieces and features a buildable sign with up to 30 letters from the Latin alphabet. Once the customizable letter board is finished, you can add emphasis or decoration with the 10 included emoji stickers, which can be added or removed whenever the message is changed. The set also includes instructions, inspiration, and 4 posters to help guide letter creation.

Both of these sets seem to have a lot of potential. They are creative, interactive, and decorative at the same time. I expect them to be popular during the holiday season. The map is especially nice for family discussions, and the message board is going to be a great way to learn about lettering with LEGO.

Both sets should be available in early August at the miscellaneous items section of the Online LEGO Shop.

What do you think? How do you like the new LEGO Build Together series? What other sets would you like to see in the collection? Feel free to share your thoughts and discuss in the comment section below!

That’s an attractive font! I don’t care for the colors, but the style is great!

We did something similar but with a real map (North America) and marked locations with Lego pieces. It was a fun way for the kids to learn locations.

Seems as if #41838 LEGO Travel Moments was based on the winning Lego Masters build by Chris “DuckBricks” Lee. Kinda cute, if you are part of a family that can afford regular travelling.

I like this nap better than the large one.. It takes up a lot less space but still includes everything.
