Wow! I love the post office! And the little truck is cute Too! 🤗
I already have 10222, Lego is repeating itself …
Thank you! I’m glad someone else is noticing this. I sense Lego is running out of ideas.
Yeah, but a lot of people don’t have that. I always wanted the post office but the prices are ridiculous. So as far as I’m concerned, I’m glad they made this.
Great sets! I love the hot air balloon! I would have never thought of adding that to a post office. Haha. 😄
Apparently, there’s a much loved Danish Christmas show that involves delivering things to Greenland by a hot air balloon. Knowing that may make more sense of this set but I’m just underwhelmed as I have been for the last several years.
I’m finding clever MOC designs and adding those buildings and small builds to my Christmas Village to keep it fresh and growing.
Thanks for sharing that info! That makes this set all the more charming. I hope they will mention that in the instructions. I love learning little tidbits like that.
The green elves seems more of an American thing, though. In Scandinavia, the elves tend to look more like red, slimmer mini-santas…
Nice sets. Imaginative and different.
I won’t be able to get Santa’s post office but , the Santa’s delivery truck is a yes. I made a post office for my city. So, all I have to do is put white bricks for snow. There you have it a winter post office. I also have to think of my Christmas shopping for family and friends.
Just like there’s only so many ways to do a police station and fire station, there’s only so many ways to do Santa at the north pole. (Of course, not everybody buying Lego sets has been collecting for years and years, hence repetition of popular themes.) I think the small town winter scene stuff was more appealing, actually.
At least not a full reissue (like Winter Toy Shop 2.0).
I see the “Santa Sets” (10245 Santa’s Workshop, 10275 Elf Club House, 10339 Santa’s Post Office) as more of a subset of Winter Village – a separate Santa’s Village at the North Pole display. 10267 Gingerbread House could be a neighbor.
But I’m not a fan of the balloon.
