After almost 10 years, LEGO BrickHeadz started to lose its appeal. With over 150 sets in the collection, all the blocky characters began to look the same and it appeared that only die-hard collectors still cared about them. However, this year, it looks like BrickHeadz is picking up again with some really cute characters and more interesting designs.
We already got the adorable #40792 LEGO BrickHeadz Dumbo, #40793 LEGO BrickHeadz Tom & Jerry, #40797 LEGO BrickHeadz Eeyore, and #40798 LEGO BrickHeadz Red Panda Mei. LEGO designers managed to make all of these characters super cute despite their blocky shape. The #40674 LEGO BrickHeadz Stitch from last year is another cutie, and I also like the #40749 LEGO BrickHeadz Inside Out characters (Joy, Sadness, and Anxiety).
And LEGO just revealed two more sets that I think are going to be popular; the #40803 LEGO BrickHeadz Optimus Prime Robot & Vehicle, and the #40804 LEGO BrickHeadz Bumblebee Robot & Vehicle. Both sets are $19.99 each and will be available starting on March 1st at the LEGO BrickHeadz section of the Online LEGO Shop.

Brickheadz make really good gifts, actually. They are inexpensive and you can give them to kids, adults, lego fans, non-lego fans, etc. I noticed a lull in availability at my local stores, but I’m glad they are coming back.
Same. I give them as gifts and I don’t mind receiving them either. They often have interesting parts and prints.
It didn’t take 10 years for BrickHeadz to all look the same. They were like that from the get-go. They are the Funko Pops of Lego. Specific characters you like somehow become must-haves, but that’s about it.
I only have a few Brickheads, but I want to get the Transformers.
