LEGO recently released the amazingly detailed #10354 LEGO Lord of the Rings: The Shire set, and today, they announced a second new Lord of the Rings set, the #10367 LEGO Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook. Details below.


Recreate one of fantasy’s most iconic moments with the #10367 LEGO Lord of the Rings: Balrog Book Nook for adults 18+, which brings Gandalf’s legendary standoff against the Balrog on the Bridge of Khazad-dûm to life in stunning detail.

This DIY building set is a versatile piece of room decor that places a window into Middle-Earth on your bookshelf. Slide the book nook between novels as a nod to the fandom, or open it fully to showcase the entire battle. Set the scene with a Gandalf the Grey minifigure armed with a staff and sword. They keep doing these book nook sets. I’m not complaining though. This looks pretty awesome. I would put some lights behind it though.
I have mixed feelings about this set. 1) to me it’s bit pricey for book nook. 2) the Balrog needs to be more fiery. This creature is supposed to be from hell. ( if you understood what Tolkien was talking about. A lot of heaven and Hell aspects in the story). I blame this knowledge to my father. Who is a medieval English college professor. So, Lord of the rings and the hobbit has been my stories growing up. ( just a little side note).
