Today, the LEGO Group unveils the latest addition to its ever-expanding LEGO DC Batman collection: the #76300 LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum. A collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products, this intricately detailed model brings the Gotham City institution to life, serving as both a stunning display piece and a unique 24-day LEGO Batman Advent Calendar.

The set features sixteen minifigures, including Gotham City’s most iconic Super Heroes and Super-Villains, each with a transparent stand for dynamic, customisable displays throughout the Arkham Asylum setting. The minifigures include Batman, Batwoman, Batwing, Robin, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Scarecrow, Harley Quinn, Bane, The Joker, The Penguin, Killer Croc, and two security guards.

The model is divided into three segments – first floor, second floor, and roof – and removable elements allow access to the interior, which features authentic details and interactive elements, including opening prison cells, an inmate delivery van, and 65 stickers referencing Batman lore.

Whether showcased proudly or assembled gradually as an Advent Calendar, this model offers an unforgettable hands-on experience for DC Super Hero fans. Featuring a bold design, intricate details, and a wide array of characters, the #76300 LEGO DC Batman Arkham Asylum is a standout display piece and a must-have addition to any adult fan’s collection.

This looks really good. I would have not thought of doing something like that, mixing the set with an advent calendar. I wonder what prompted it.
So around $300 is now the standard price of sets? Insane. I like it, but not for that much.
I still find it somewhat tiresome when Batman media conflates Arkham Asylum (where the criminally insane are kept) with a regular prison (where mentally sound criminals are kept), but whatever.
I fail to see any mentally-sound criminals in this AA set (at least, in prison garb).
I’m not quite sure where you get this idea from. AA is where the criminally-insane are treated. You don’t have to be a supervillain, just nuts.
Gotham State Penitentiary (later Blackgate) is where the non-insane criminals were incarcerated. If you are “cured” at AA, you get transferred to Blackgate (and then promptly escape).
